Woodland Hills Golf Club
Played On 07/09/2020Think before hitting
On this course you won’t use driver on every 4&5. Short with some severe doglegs, it makes you position your tee shot and think your way around. Fairways are in good shape, greens are bent grass and a little slow. I played with a member who was a big help. Fun round!

Played On 06/15/2020Fantastic course
There is not a bad hole on this course. It’s challenging but playable, and the greens are perfect.
Had an enjoyable round and I’ll be back.
Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We are so glad to hear you enjoyed the course. We value your feedback, and hope to see you again soon.
City Club Marietta
Played On 06/12/2020New greens
I had heard the new greens were an improvement, and they are. However I was surprised to see several already have large bare spots. The greens putt well overall, but the grounds crew needs some training on where to cut holes. Number 10 had the hole cut on a knob, and my putt stopped 4 inches from it and rolled back 8 feet.
Other holes were cut on slopes or at the edge of a shelf. The game is hard enough without tricked up greens.
Otherwise, staff was great, practice green was perfect, and range was well maintained. I’ll play here again.
Fox Creek Golf Club
Played On 10/10/2019Walk it
Short course, and one of the few in Atlanta that you can walk. Holes are a little close to each other, so watch for errant shots. Layout is good though, with plenty of variety. Course condition is great.
Great value, pace of play is 2.5 to 3.5 hrs weekdays.

Legacy Golf Links
Played On 10/09/2019Really nice short course
Great course to work your short irons. Greens are A+ with perfect speed and contours. Only 2 small reasons I didn’t give 5 stars:
1) too many holes of same length, around 130 yds
2) hole #11 fairway is never in good shape and drives tend to kick left into the woods.
Otherwise legacy is a lot of fun for all skill levels.
Hello. We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. Thank you for playing @Legacygolflinks.
Steel Canyon Golf Club
Played On 08/08/2018Appropriate name
This is a really unique course....some holes are routed under power line towers, and others on top of the old landfill are like a links course. Overall, every hole is unique with the exception of 9 and 18 which are exactly the same length and look. Number 8 is very tough form the back tee; 200 yds with lots of trouble for a crooked shot.
Greens are perfect.
The Golf Club At Bradshaw Farm - Red Nine
Played On 07/25/2018Always in good condition
Played Red / White, course is always in good shape. Greens were recently sanded but putts rolled true. Fairways on Red nine were aerated. Can’t complain, booked a hot deal for $26. Friendly staff, it was all good.
Towne Lake Hills Golf Club
Played On 07/11/2018Great condition
Course is in great condition except some of the tees, but those are being repaired.
Hilly terrain makes the course very challenging, as there are few level lies. #2 will wake you up.....must put the ball in the right spot or a big number is possible.
Staff was very friendly, pace of play was 3-1/2 hours (weekday).
The Golf Club At Bradshaw Farm - Red Nine
Played On 10/19/2017Course in good shape
Challenging course, in great shape. Greens were quick, pace of play a little over 4 hrs. Booked a hot deal on golfnow so value could not be beat.
Greenwood Country Club
Played On 10/17/2017Nice course
Nice layout, great price, course is in good shape. Greens take some getting used to, there are very few straight putts. Pay attention to the grain.
What a shame
We are witnessing the death of a golf course. It is such a shame that BJ is being neglected so badly. Current management seems to blame the former management for the condition of the course, but that is not true. The course was in good shape when the transition happened. It was in the last 2 months that the greens deteriorated. And I realize we've had a lot of rain but I see no attempt to repair bunkers which are now either packed sand, mud holes, or ponds. There have been wet times in the past but the course was always maintained. What we are seeing is a course being allowed to die before the elites build their proper tribute to Bobby Jones. Some of us saw nothing wrong with the old one.
What's up with the greens?
I've played Bobby Jones hundreds of times, and the greens were always it's strongest asset. But today there were a lot of bare spots. Number 2 in particular had hardly any grass. I hope that it isn't being neglected before being bulldozed for the new course.
Thank you for playing with us!
