Poor fairways, overgrown tee boxes, disgusting bunkers with grass growing in the bunker material and greens, that from a distance looked very good, on closer inspection were barely fair. We would not entertain another visit to this course even if someone else paid for us. Thankfully we got a hot deal of £17.50 each and that was too much for the state of the course.

This course, for a medium to high golfer, is quite a challenge. It has a mixture of long holes ,medium length holes and short holes but none that you would call easy holes. We really enjoyed ourselves, the views, of the surrounding area, are fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful, we have played this course several times on our visits to Dorset and will definitely ,healthy and fitness willing, play it again on future visits. First time on Truro GC and in very trying conditions with a strong wind blowing we really enjoyed this testing golf course. Obviously putting was a problem due to winter green work but all golf clubs are at this stage and the ground staff had produced the best possible surface they could. A little disappointed with the pace of play on the latter half but as a visitor you can't have everything.
