Indian Ridge Golf Club
Played On 09/26/2020Fun track, nice greens
This course is fun with a lot of tricky shots. It’s open enough that you don’t have to be spot on, but if you hit the ball straight, you can really score. I definitely enjoyed the layout. I will play it again.
Majestic Springs Golf Course
Played On 05/31/2020Beautiful Track in the Middle of Nowhere
This is built on an old farm and the scenes show it. There are plenty of rolling hills, little creeks, ponds, and trees to keep it interesting. You have.a good mix of challenging narrow shots and wide open straight forward ones. If pace of play were better, the game would have been absolutely perfect. Either way, this is a nice course and I'd recommend playing it if you're in the area.
Hidden Hills Golf Course
Played On 06/16/2018Nice layout, poor conditions.
This is a fun track with some challenging doglegs. With a little bit of money put into conditioning, this course could be quite the gem. Right now, the conditions are particularly bad because of aerification, which I knew about before playing. However, the roughs need a lot of work, as do some fairways. I would play it again, but there are better courses in the area for the price.
St. Johns Golf Club
Played On 06/09/2018Nice layout, poor conditions
This is an interesting layout with lots of doglegs, but the course is just not maintained. The greens need work and it's hard to differentiate between the roughs and fairways. They do have a huge practice facility, but the putting green was shut down, so we didn't get to use that. We played the first 7 holes in 50 minutes, and it took 3 hours to play the remaining 11, which was frustrating. If this course was $15, I would recommend it, but it's definitely not worth more than $20.
St. Johns Golf & Country Club
Played On 06/05/2018Beautiful course with a great layout
This is a fun track! You have to think your way around the course, but can score if you play smart shots. The greens were just punched, so it was hard to roll putts when I played, but when the greens recover, I bet they are spectacular. This is a fun place and I will be back.
Eagle Landing Golf Club
Played On 05/26/2018Challenging layout, loads of fun
This is an interesting course. It was designed to make you hit good shots. There are strategically placed bunkers in a lot of landing areas. You get punished for hitting bad shots, but if you can hit it straight and play with your head, you can score. The greens roll well and hold shots. To add to the course, you get breakfast, lunch, and two drinks for free with this deal making it well worth your time. I'd recommend playing here any chance you get.
The Amelia River Club
Played On 04/22/2018Nice track, quick greens.
This is a fun course with quick greens. I saw a gator on 1 and 14, so that added a little interest. The course challenges with some risk taking opportunities, but you can think your way around it. For as fast as the greens were, they held pretty well if you spun the ball. I'd play here again.
Jekyll Island Golf Club - Indian Mound Course
Played On 05/30/2016Nice track, poor condition
This course would have been very nice had the conditions been better. The greens were very fuzzy, causing them to be slow. A couple holes had severe damage to the greens. Most tee boxes were un mown, which isn't a huge deal, but it isn't how it is supposed to be. There was no one playing on Memorial Day, so we flew around without hitch, which made the course more enjoyable. Jekyll Island is a gorgeous place and they have a gold mine if they put more money towards the conditioning the courses. Overall, it's not bad golf for $20 bucks. I wouldn't pay much more for it.
The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort
Played On 11/20/2015Great course!
I've played a lot of nice courses, and this one lives up to the hype. The layout was good and the views are very nice. The front nine, the greens were perfect. One the back, the greens were a little fury, and rolled slightly slower. No complaints from me. I definitely recommend this course.
Blue/Red at Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort
Played On 05/02/2015Cramped course
This was my first time playing Shawnee and for as large as the facility is, the course seems very cramped. All the holes are ontop of one another and that made it difficult to see where you were going at times. The pace of play was to be expected with as busy as it was. If this were an 18 hole course, it would be incredible because of the views and terrain. However, with 27, it is just Eh.
Wynding Brook Golf Club
Played On 8/24/2013About average
For a sub-$20 round, it is about what I expected. The pace of play was slow and the tee boxes were hit or miss on conditions, but the greens were well-maintained, and that made for a decent day.
The layout is eh, with nothing too exciting. Every hole is straight as an arrow, but there are plenty of blind shots due to hills. The greens were mostly flat, but a few had major undulations. Overall, it is a fair course, so you should shoot well on it.
Thank you derekbradley. We appreciate your feedback! We have made some big changes and we think you'd be impressed! We hope to see you back here in the future!
