Not a great fan of the shorter version of UHCC but it still has challenges and it’s fun. I’m a 9 handicap, 60 years old and play from white tees regularly but played blue tees here and shot 74 with 3 birdies and I would say that was partly because of the short length of the course. Good conditions, very good greens. Can’t comment on bunkers but playing partner was in several and they were inconsistent to him. Golf Now special.

Arrowood GC is an excellent golf course. Great service, great range, great dining experience, and the course is definitely a destination golf course; beautiful, scenic and in great shape. This might be the best bang for your buck golf course in north San Diego/south Orange County.

Tiny greens have always protected this course but with the dormant grass around them, they looked even tinier than usual. Good conditions throughout (great greens) except for a few tee boxes that absolutely must be leveled. Shame on the greens keepers for ignoring two huge humps for some time now. Lots of players today and a great senior deal was the reason as well as a perfect sunny day. Overall it’s a good, fun course with good conditions (except for those tee boxes........come on now, a little effort will go a long way).

Great experience playing this course and one of the most scenic courses I’ve played in the area. Great conditions for the summer with lush fairways and tee boxes, bunkers and greens all great. Challenging but very playable with water and strategic bunkers to humble you. Highly recommend this course and take the time to look up at the majestic views.

Very scenic course and a cool factor are the planes taking off and landing at the airport nearby. The front 9 is very beatable but the back 9 is tough. Shot 1 over front 9 and 7 over back 9 and I thought I played well on the back! Summer conditions prevailed but quite a bit of dead areas and more than just dormant areas on several fairways that a high quality course like this should deem unacceptable. Tee boxes, bunkers and greens were great with greens summer- desert slow as many other courses out here but they rolled true. Overall a good course to play and worth it but summer heat and sketchy turf management knocks my opinion from great to good.
