Remington Parkview Golf and Country Club - Upper
Played On 08/25/2020Solid
played here many times. Today was a bad day. 4 kids in front of me slowed down play big time as they drove up and down fairways. Marshalls could have been out to say something or tell them NOT to walk to their balls as they have carts but the round wasn't so bad. Grass is greening up as they were burned out for the summer and greens roll pretty nicely.

Greens were in great condition, most of the course was burned out but thats because of a lack of rain for the last few weeks. You can definitely get lost finding holes, the blue was kind of wierd. Also, don't like how the blue 9 holes have this creek at your driver distance so I had to keep the driver in the bag. Honestly, great round, pace not a problem, great value, great greens and shot a good score today. Will definitely re visit.
Cardinal Golf Club - West

I know this course is close to Vaughan and the city so it's a popular spot, but it took us a twosome, 2 hours and 40 minutes for the first 9 holes on the West. More marshalls are needed to keep up pace of play because the foursome in front of us was brutal. Beginners need to be taught about pace of player from these marshalls.
Greens were aerated so we were putting with our eyes closed cause there were no good rolls, fairways and tee blocks were ok. Cart girl visited us on the 1st and then 18th hole which makes no sense at all.
Only positives. Starters were polite and the rate was too good to pass on. Otherwise I'd categorize this as the slowest public course I've ever played on.
Thank you for your review, Jon. We will pass along your positive experience to our team at Mayfield Golf Club. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
