I got a considerable discount to play this course conveniently near my home. The tee boxes and many greens were in poor shape. The rough close around the green;s and just off the fairways is such that you can miss by feet and not find your ball. The layout seems contrived with numerous unplayable areas in the middle of what should be continuous fairways. Overall disappointing. It is high priced vs value due to its convenient location near wealthy subdivisions.

Played On 06/03/2021Great course for what i paid. very picturesque, /water on essentially every hole.
Easily one of the best courses I have ever played for the money.Everyone was nice except for the starter who was rude.
Steel Canyon Golf Club

Course is short but extreme altitude changes and sloping fairways. Lots of impossible brush off the fairways where you will never find your ball. Main problem is course is wet even though no rain for days.
No food, not even hot dogs and hamburgers,. a few snacks, no cart girl. I played with some very nice young men and hit the ball pretty well today so still had a good time. Pin positions were difficult today I had five three-putts which is very abnormal for me.

Pace of play was somewhat slow so the round was not completed. Too many poorer players hitting off the wrong tees and taking too many mulligans.

I had a great time playing this course. I shot one of the lowest rounds of my life which factor into my rating. It has water throughout, picturesque which I like. Very playable if you drive it straight.

Large pools of standing water on many holes. course did not make us aware of these conditions prior to play.
