A month after overseeding, the course should be in great condition and it was. Green and lush fairways. Smooth rolling greens, albeit a little slow. The bunkers could stand some fresh sand and raking. A very good round with good pace. Attentive cart girls and good amenities. Easy access off Pecos Freeway.

Played here a few times and always very good condition, especially the greens. But the greens were largely dead and very poor this time. The practice putting green was closed for landscaping around it. The practice green looked nice, so we had high expectations for the greens on the course. We would not have played here had we known the issues on Golfnow.com. Staff and cart girl were friendly and attentive, but that doesn't make up for the poor condition. I hope the greens are back to the normal standard soon.

Played here a few times and always worth the drive from the SE valley. Good chipping, putting and driving range. Friendly staff. Good greens and pace of play. Most fairways were nice, but some were thin and dry. Good flat tee boxes. Cart girl was frequent and nice.Beers and food afterward were on par or better than most sports bars. There can be mosquitos during the monsoon season, so bring bug spray then.

Played the course for this first time on a Thursday, Teed off early. Pace-of-play was excellent, Me and one friend finished in three hours flat. Conditions were excellent, bunkers were some of the best I've seen. Fairways abd greens were green and consistent, no Brown areas. Ate lunch in the clubhouse afterwards, staff there was excellent as well and the food was good. Highly recommend. I will be back.

Played the Mountain course for first time, and had a great time. This is target golf with a lot of elevation changes. The course was in great shape, and the greens were very fast. I'm usually good for one three-putt every couple of rounds, and I had 4 on this day. It's not always clear where the next hole or tee box is, and without a regular in our foursome, we would have gotten lost more than once.. He even admitted that the course could be better marked. We had a great time and enjoyed the golf and views. FYI, there are coolers on the (brand new) carts, but no GPS.

The course was in good condition, which was surprising considering overseeding was just completed recently. If not for the problem with the range ball machine (it was jammed and it took 20 minutes for me to get balls) and the slow start (which ALWAYS happens here), it was a great day. Some of my playing partners said the sand in the bunkers was a little thin, but I've seen much worse. It was cart path only, but it was still a good time with a visible and pleasant cart girl, we saw her about every 3-4 holes. Even the food and service in the restaurant was quite good, and a decent value.

Play was very slow (due to Frisbee golf tournament that day?) but staff was great and allowed us to play on after 18. Course was in good shape, but greens were very slow. Cart girl was pleasant and around enough to keep us hydrated. THERE IS NO DRINKING WATER ON THE COURSE, but there are coolers on the carts. A couple par 5s made it interesting, but they sre offset by some short 115 yard par 3s. Your wedge will get a workout. OK driving range and practice green.

Started as a single at 11:00, but joined with another single after a few holes. Nice tee boxes, forgiving fairways & soft greens. There were some thin and dry areas, but much better than I expected for August. The bunkers had good sand, which most courses at this price point can not say. Finished in 3 hours on a Friday, very nice. Friendly staff too. Will definitely play again.

Good Shape. Need To Stay In Fairways As Rough Is Hard Pan And Often Wet. Undulating Fairways Can Make For Challenging Shots And Club Selection. Fairways Can Be Narrow And The Edges Run down To The Rough.

A Short Executive Course That Is Well Maintained. Front 9 Are Very Close Together, Then It Spreads Out. A LinkS Style Course With Few Trees (And Little Shade) And Only 1 Sand Bunker. No Drinking Water On Course, But You'll See The Cart Girl Once Or Twice, And Cooler And Ice Is on Every Cart. Can Use Your Driver A Few Times, But It's Not Necessary. RougH/1st Cut Is Very Short, Shorter Than The Fairway! Good Practice For Short Game.

A Fun Par 61 Course In A 55+ Community. Conditions Are Ok And Staff Is Friendly. Fairways Were Actually Much Better Than The Foothills. Enough Par 4s To Get The Woods Out. FAirway Bunkers Are Mostly Grass.

Good OveralL Conditions, But Bunkers Were Thin And More Dirt Than Sand. However, The Staff Said New/More Sand Is To Be Added By May. Very Friendly Staff. Quick greens.

WS is a decent public course, not too hard or too easy. Their biggest issue is they NEVER start you on time-- it's not uncommon to start 30 minutes late even when there are no weather issues. Pace of play can be a little slow, but never over 5 hours. The maintenance is OK, but could be better. There were significant puddles (from the sprinklers) in some fairways the last time I played in the morning. The driving range has fake and real grass, and depending on the day, you may hit off either one. Nice pro shop/clubhouse and the staff is usually friendly and helpful.
