Close to the strip

This is what most would consider a muni type course. It is priced at a decent level to attract locals and tourists. Conditions much like a muni. Greens are ok but pock marked due to players not fixing their own ball marks. One of the retention ponds had a bunch of dead fish floating in it. Not a great selling point. The restaurant is good and a driving range is availability with a bucket included in the greens fee

Well worth the visit

Short course but challenging. The course was in good condition. Fairways were well watered so there is not a lot of roll but the greens were receptive and rolled well. Got there a little early and had breakfast in the restaurant. Best breakfast burrito I ever had!

Great Greens but that’s about all

This course is a nice layout in a residential community about 20 minutes from the strip. Fairways were in terrible condition. Very disappointing. Bunkers were dry clay with no depth. Pace of play was average. There were no rangers on the course. Carts were in decent shape with on course gps. The best thing about the course were the greens. They were soft and receptive and rolled beautifully. Minimal staff but they were friendly

Eagle Eidge

Very pleasantly surprised that the course was in very playable condition after weeks of hard rain. Greens were generally in good shape. Pace of play was under 4 hours which was good considering the courses were crowded
Good value for the money. Club house and on course staff were very pleasant.

Las Vegas Standard

20 minutes from the strip by car this course has been an LV standard for some time. A good layout with some tight driving holes being off the fairway in the many waste areas is penal. Greens had been punched but were fast. They were also riddled with poa annua which made them erratic. Still a course I usually play when visiting and the GN deal is good

Flora and fauna muy bonita

The economy in Puerto Rico is depressed and that is evident at this resort and golf club. I do like the Ocean course more than the River course. It is more scenic which takes your mind off of the crumbling cart paths and plywood patched bridges. They had plenty of staff which I was happy to see and except for the old caballero in the snack snack they were neither friendly nor helpful. While I live and work in PR full time they don't allow a resident rate for my situation which is disappointing

Disappointing condition

Was very disappointed in the condition of the course. Many parts of the fairway are creeping weeds. The sand in the bunkers is not sand at all but rather a mixture of sand, fine gravel and rocks that are a danger to equipment and players

No self respecting cow would be caught dead in this pasture

I thought I had found a rare thing in Puerto Rico, a reasonably priced golf course. The price was reasonable thanks to a golfnow deal but the experience was terrible. The carts had treadless tires and you wouldn't think it could make it downhill much less up hill. Bunkers had no sand. Fairways and rough full of mud and greens... Well I have played temporary greens in much better shape than the regular greens at this course. If this was the only course I could ever play I would guit the game altogether.
