It’s been up and down over the years. The club has made improvement over the past few year and it’s starting to pay off. Always enjoy playing cherokee ridge
Colonial Golf Course
Played On 07/11/2020Best shape I’ve ever seen it in
The course is in as good a shape as I’ve seen in the last 10 years.
Staff are great. I did get surprised by the hot deal being walking only and had to pay for a cart. But the condition of the course made it worth while.
Sunset Landing Golf Course

I’ve played to its course a bunch over the years. Was excited when they put in a new putting green.
The course is in rough condition. Tee boxes need cutting and cleaning up. Fairways need the same tlc... greens look good but don’t hold very well. Around the green is usual garbage. Chucks of grass and weeds.
Probably won’t be back for a while.

Course is making a comeback. Still needs some time, but the signs are promising

Played On 09/06/2019Good course, needs some tlc
The staff were amazing, and the breakfast wrap was phenomenal.
What frustrated me the most was that I’m here on vacation and will only play one round. I called the day before I booked to ask what shape the course was in and I was told “really good”.
The greens were quite sandy and inconsistent speeds. Tee boxes were overgrown and in need of a cut. The fairways were nice, and some the whole were beautiful.
In better shape this is a course is play again, just annoyed by the condition of the tee boxes and greens.
Thank you for playing and providing the review. I'm sorry the greens and tees did not meet your expectations. The extreme dry conditions have made things a bit of challenge in a few areas but we continue to work through it and improve. Hope to see you again when you make it back.

Dogwood Hills Golf Club

Drove 1hour and 40 minutes to play this “hidden gem”, having played canyon ridge (spectacular course) up the road a couple of years ago
Staff we very pleasant but the course is in horrible condition except the greens.
Tees boxes we’re far from flat and lots weeds and patches of grass.
Fairways were not smooth and flush, quite similar to the tee box.
Layout was fun and unique.
Views were nothings to write home about.
Won’t be back but only because of the of the quality of the tee boxes and fairways.
