Very good executive course .. and getting even better

Willow Springs is an outstanding executive course that is always in good shape ... even in the winter months. Great mix of par 3's and challenging par 4's and perfect for all levels of playing ability. New management team has made really great upgrades to both the course and facilities and the indoor golf simulator is perfect for practice and lessons. I'm going to scheduled some lessons with one of their 3 on-site teaching professionals to sharpen up my game for the upcoming season. Love the new upgrades and plan to play here more often.

Fantastic Golf Course and Views

In a word ... this course is STUNNING. Every tee box is a post card worthy view and the course conditions were excellent. Friendly staff were helpful in getting situated for the driving range and tee time. I've organized golf trips for over 20 years and Sequoyah National is a course that I would definitely design a golf trip around as a marquis course. Side note: Course was about and hour from Gatlinburg, TN and the drive through the Smoky Mountains NP at 7AM was delightful. Driving through the park we saw a bear crossing the road a few hundred feet ahead of us and herds of elk on the NC side as we got near Cherokee, NC.

Can't wait to play Sequoyah National again soon and I offer my highest recommendation to play this course if you can.

Great course with beautiful views from the Mountain Nine

Lakeview is always on my go to places to play when in the Harrisonburg area. Staff is friendly and helpful and course courses ( 3 nines) are always well conditioned.
The Mountain nine is my favorite with great scenery having the Massanutten mountain range and Blue Ridge mountain range as backdrop.

Challenging course ... worth the drive

This course is a little off the beaten path but worth the drive. Really good layout and scenery and course conditions. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Only nit would be that several of the greens are very penal (extreme slope and undulations) which while challenging, were borderline unfair if above the hole

Highly recommend this course.

Worst conditioned course I've ever played

There are no words to describe how terribly awful the course conditions were at Pittsburgh National
on Saturday August 1st. From dirt tee boxes to burnt fairways, the course looks like its mismanaged
in the worst possible way. Our group called it the Baghdad Country Club because it looked like a war
zone rather than a bonifide public golf course. Google maps satellite view couldn't find green on the tee boxes and fairways of this course and to charge more than $25 to play this course is a crime. Strongly suggest taking your public course golfing dollar anywhere else but here.
