Even with the recent monsoon actions the course is in great summer shape =including the greens. The bunkers have been washed away pretty dramatically due to heavy monsoons. As expected here in Tucson, no one should expect them to be redone prior to September (after monsoon season). That is part of life in the Sonoran. Desert. Very nice course, as usual.

This is a challenging lay out with, I would say, greater than average elevation of the greens. The greens are small by comparison with most locations, and are hard. In many cases a good elevated pitch still results in run off and down a slope from the green. I would not be able to recommend this course unless greens are made receptive to golf shots.

First Time at the course. We were informed of the aeration so we expected the greens to be challenging. As usual following aeration and sanding the breaks were hard to predetermine but overall a great day at a reasonable price for this time of year,

Everything as expected during the off season. I believe the threat of rare monsoon rain kept many away making for a very enjoyable day.

Greens are extremely fuzzy. Will be great in a couple weeks or less!

Overall I rated this course as poor. The sand traps have about 1/2 inch of sand over hard rocks which will ruin your sand wedge. I guess its fine for those who live there but there are much better locations in the Tucson area including the other earlier Saddlebrooke locations.
