Nice course. Challenging. Staff is super friendly. Course and greens are under renovation and it shows. Will be better in the future.

Oyster Reef Golf Course

First time at Oyster Reef. Staff very friendly from cart personnel, to pro shop, to starter. Nice layout. Fair. Greens were being aerated. Made putting rough but we’ were forewarned. Got the deal of the day. Otherwise very pricey.

All good except greens were healing from aeration. Going to be in good condition in a week but a bit problematic today
Old South Golf Links
Played On 08/22/2021Nice day at Old South
Had a good day at Old South. Cart path only due to storms but we finished in under four hours. Very nice pro shop. Friendly staff in pro shop, cart check on/out, and starter. Need lots of local knowledge. Challenging but fair. Picturesque through the marshes. Will definitely return next year.

Crescent Pointe Golf Club

We had an enjoyable day. Nice course and layout. Variety of holes. Challenging but fair. Local knowledge required. Great marsh scenery and numerous birds and animals. Will return in the future.

Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run

Golden Bear is an annual visit on our trip to Hilton Head. Good layout. Lots of variety. Fair course. Hit good shots and you will play well. I thought the greens were slow. Tee boxes were scruffy.

We had an enjoyable day at Golden Bear. Course in great shape. Appreciated water stations on a hot humid day. Definitely recommend and going back.

Crescent Pointe Golf Club

Played the day after heavy rains. Cart path only. Course was in excellent condition. Greens are challenging and needed “local knowledge “. Enough water and traps to keep it interesting. Water stations on every three holes. Much needed and appreciated. Good value. I’ll be back.

I enjoyed my round today. Course is challenging but fair. A lot of variety in the holes and layout. Make sure you read the historical markers. Staff very friendly and engaging. Course was in very good condition.

Pohick Bay Golf Course

Enjoyed the round at Pohick. Not a long course but challenging. Tee boxes and fringe were shaggy. Greens were in average condition. Could use some work. Need local knowledge on several holes. I would go back.
Old Hickory Golf Club

First time at this course. Local knowledge would help. We had a great time. Great conditions, pace of play. Enjoyed the greens. Be careful finding the tunnel from 14 to 15.
Jekyll Island Golf Club - Indian Mound Course

I got a Hot Deal special. Nice course. It was wet after an evening storm. Good course. Very challenging.
