This RT Jones course features simplicity and challenge in it's layout. There are some fairly straightforward holes that are pretty simple and easy on inexperienced golfers, and there are some pretty complex holes that will challenge the experienced golfer. As always, the course is in almost pristine condition. Only some of the tee decks were punched and top-dressed, but they didn't affect play. Outstanding course in my opinion. Being a cool day, there were only 3 other groups on the course, so no issue with pace. I played alone, and finished in just over 3 hours.

As one of the first off the tee, there was only a foursome ahead of me and they kept a very good pace Playing alone, I never caught up with them the entire round. The course was in very good condition, greens were very receptive. As slways, the entire course was a pleasure to be on. One of my favorite Kissimmee course to play, always a very good value for the $$.

With the course being in the middle of nowhere, I expected not many people to be there. 3 cars in the lot at midday. The conditions (light rain) created some problems on the course. The greens were cut either that day or the day before and the mowers did not collect the clippings. When putting, the ball collected lots of clippings and veered off course easily because of that. There were a lot of weeds all over the course, tees, fairways, rough and greens. I gave course staff friendliness an average score, but that was only because of the lady manning the pro shop. Very friendly and willing to help. The grounds crew, not so much. Pretty rude in some instances, I seriously doubt I'll ever play that course again. Off course amenities were pretty much non-existent from the course being so remotely located.

The course was in "ok" condition, with everything green and the greens weren't punched yet. Green speed was average, tees were in good shape and the pace was average. But the course was very dry and firm (don't think the sprinklers were engaged yet). Difficult to almost impossible to take a divot and no ball marks from a high, well struck wedge (lots of roll-out). A little watering and rain wouldn't hurt at all.

Haven't played here in 14 years so quite surprised. Conditions were really good. Fairways and tees were excellent and greens were very good and fairly quick. Clubhouse is still jib need of an upgrade but functional. I'll be back again.

I haven't played this course in 8 years, but the memories came flooding back how much I enjoyed it. Course conditions were excellent. No complaints in any area.

Becoming one of my fav courses. Challenging but fair, conditions were very good, greens were a bit slower than my last trip. Subtle undulations create challenging putts, and if you're not practiced on non-level lies in the fairway (mounding) you're going to be very surprised. I'll be back again!

Although the course was in really good conditions, it would have been nice to know about the aeration prior to booking. With the over-seeding, the greens were moderate speed with very few bounces. There were a few brown spots around non-functioning sprinklers on some fairways. Otherwise, a very enjoyable round.

For a simulator facility, it was pretty average. Booked a private room so there were no disturbances. Staff was very friendly. Simulators are the old GolfZone sims that I was familiar with.

I've played the Forest course before and it was my favorite in Tampa. Now that I've played the Lakes, the entire facility is my favorite. The tees and fairways were almost in perfect condition, and the greens were smooth and fast (about 11). The staff were super helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be back every time I get to Tampa.

I enjoyed everything about this course. The layout was really good for the available property. The staff were very friendly and helpful to a newcomer. Since there were very few golfers out, pace of play wasn't a problem.
The only sub-par item was the greens. It seemed that almost half of the greens had some kind of fungus or some other turf problem because there were lots of bare ground spots. The condition of the greens otherwise was really good, with balls rolling true and pace was above average.
