Black Oak Golf Course
Played On 05/15/2018A gem in the foothills.
The course is in good shape and is the best 9 hole layout in Northern California. It challenges your entire game. The pro, Carol French, played on the LPGA tour and is a very good teacher. Very friendly staff.
The Stadium Course at PGA WEST
Played On 02/11/2016More difficult than last year for sure.
Playing shortly after the PGA Humana tournament made a big difference. The greens were faster and my short games wasn't up to the challenge. Shot 13 strokes higher than last year. But it is a beautiful layout and worth playing.
Desert Falls Country Club
Played On 02/10/2016A Hidden Gem in Palm Desert.
After reading reviews that were all over the board, we were not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The course was a fun layout, in very good condition, and the staff were very friendly and courteous. Looking forward to playing there again next year.
Palms at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort

the course could not be in better conditions. today we played Indian canyons north and, although it was rated about the same, could not hold a candle to the magnificent conditions and layout at the Palms course.
Rocklin Golf Club

The greens were in excellent shape. The fairways are browning and patchy in places because of the drought. Had a rough round until the 16th hole when I aced the 150 yard par three with my new Cleveland 7 iron that I bought at Golf Galaxy in May. Used a Titleist NXT.

The course is in great shape, despite the water shortage. Greens rolled true and were not too hard. Great rate on Golfnow.com, too!
