Canyons at Oasis Golf Club
Played On 07/31/2016Took Good Care of Us
A guy's weekend to Mesquite was nearly turned on its head with flash floods closing Wolf Creek. After Wolf Creek failed to make the effort to notify us of the closure prior to arrival, we decided to see if other courses survived the rains. Oasis survived and was in really good shape. It would have been in good shape on a good weather day, but the rains/flash floods did nothing to the course. We booked a very last minute tee time (about 5 minutes before tee off) and the staff was very accommodating. They appeared to be getting a rush of last minute tee times from other course closures. I think customer service goes a long way towards a good experience, but we also really enjoyed the layout, the views, and the challenges. I would definitely recommend a round at Oasis if you're near Mesquite.
Falcon Ridge Golf Club
Played On 07/30/2016Challenging and Rewarding
Go to Mesquite. Play this course. Benefits include having some of the latest tee times in the town (after 12pm). Most courses in Mesquite close shop at 12pm and offer no later tee times. Well, Falcon Ridge does and it is a great spot. It's very challenging - big uphills, water, narrow in spots - but it is a fully enjoyable experience. You are rewarded after getting up the hills with interesting elevated tee boxes. There are some beautiful holes to play and definitely a diamond in the rough for desert golf.
Sun Mountain at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort
Played On 06/12/2016Leave the City and Play Here
This is the 2nd of the 3 courses I have played at Paiute, and it is such a great place to play. It's about 20 minutes from where I live, and probably 30-40 from the strip, so it's not hard to get to. The courses (driving range, tee boxes, fairways, greens, hazards) are in great shape and the Sun Course definitely made for a great afternoon of golf. Get away from the craziness of the tourists and enjoy this place.
Aliante Golf Course
Played On 05/15/2016Should Be Good Soon
Greens are practically unplayable at this time (5/15/16), but the layout is great, the backdrop is a fantastic mountain view, and staff is nice. The issues with the greens include they need to be cut and the bunkers need to be replaced (filled with rocks that are hit all over the green).
Primm Valley Golf Club - Lakes Course
Played On 05/08/2016Go Play It
It's worth the drive from Vegas (40-45 minutes). Course is enjoyable, staff was great (especially the cart/starter crew). Like everything out here, it's in the desert, but they've done a great job making you feel hidden from the normal desert landscape (pine trees, etc. give you a little oasis.

Canyon/Lakes at Spanish Trail Country Club
Played On 01/10/2016Not Worth It
Clubhouse staff is rude. Hidden costs not reported to GolfNow and they hold your tee time ransom until you pay. Course is not in good shape for the money.
The Legacy Golf Club
Played On 10/04/2015Would Play It Again
Tough and challenging, but the wind made it worse. Course was in great shape and a really nice track.
Rhodes Ranch Country Club
Played On 08/23/2015My Most Enjoyable In Vegas
One of the few courses I have played multiple times (there are so many choices for courses, and my group tries to play something different each time). I really enjoy this course in Vegas. The course is usually in really good, playable shape and it has some interesting challenges to keep things interesting.
Bear's Best Las Vegas
Played On 08/09/2015Rough Experience
Arrived to no carts available. Finally got a cart only to have a malfunctioning GPS. Requested a new cart from hole 2-9 with no response. Grabbed a new cart at the turn and offered no concession or apology. Rude manager just didn't get it. We like to try new courses, but not recommending this one. Course was dry...hard as a rock and brown spots.
Pebble Brook Golf Club - South Course
Played On 6/15/2013Fair and Enjoyable Course
The course layout is not too demanding for novice golfers, but also offers some challenges for all levels. I'd recommend you give this course a look. This review is for the South Course, but they also feature another 18-hole North Course.
Should be good when ? This course is unplayable.
