Cherokee Ridge Country Club

Had to play with 80 degree weather at the end of October. Went as a single and played with 3 locals who were wonderful! Had a great time. Very dry but course was in great shape. Bermuda greens were firm and fast and rolled true. The local guys (Chris, Jason & Rich) helped me play my best round at Cherokee Ridge where I have played 5 or 6 times when in North Alabama visiting family. Course layout is great and fall foliage and mountain views were beautiful!

Played on a sunny 80 degrees Saturday in October. So the course was full. Checked in as a single, expecting to play with 3 strangers, but the other 3 did not show. Allowed me to tee off as a single with foursomes ahead and foursomes behind. Pace of play was very good for a busy Saturday. Course starter and marshal did an excellent job with course information and letting me know how groups were moving. I can normally play 18 holes as a single in 2 1/2 hours. This round took 4 hours as it should on a busy Saturday. Course was very dry, but in very good shape. Greens are firm and fast and challenging.

Tee time was 7:57 a.m. Went off around 7:50 and was finished 18th hole around 10:00. Course is in very good shape considering how dry it has been. Greens were fast and firm. Layout is challenging without being quirky. Staff and members were great. Will play again.
Dub's Dread Golf Club

Great course in great shape. My tee time was at 7:40 a.m. but with frost on the greens, did not tee off until 9:30. Was paired with 3 guys who work there, and their course knowledge helped me play the course well. Will definitely return one day.

Typical SW Florida price, but worth ever penny. Course is in great shape from tee boxes to greens. If not for leaving Florida tomorrow, I would play again.

Played On 02/14/2019Great little course
Very busy, but pace of play was good. Course is in good shape for the amount players on the course. Started at 12:52 and was finished by 4:00. Played the blue tees which made me hit some long irons and hybrids into the greens. Greens were a little slow but rolled fairly true. Great course that I will probably play when I visit again next year.

Great course! In excellent shape, and a Hot Deal from GolfNow made it an excellent value. Greens were fast, firm and true. Fairways were in great shape for early February. I will come back and play this course every time I am in Southwest Florida!
