Stoneybrook Golf Club
Played On 07/02/2018Don’t let the water bother you
There is a fair amount of water, but if you don’t have directional issues you’ll be fine. The grass was in primo condition everywhere especially the greens. Staff was courteous. Ate lunch at Duffy’s and it was just average bar food.
Palmetto-Pine Country Club
Played On 05/23/2018Great layout
Long, wide fairways. Interesting greens approaches. Staff was very nice and informative. (Thanks Matt). The only thing that can use improvement is the numerous weeds in the short grass on the sides of the fairway.

Loved the layout. Pace of play a bit slow. Walkers and carts together take a bit more time to play.
If you like a beach challenge then this course is the one
There was water and sand all around, but the challenge of bypassing it all was the interesting part. It was a frustrating and rewarding round.
The Club At Westminster
Played On 10/18/2017Long shots
I like all of the long shots that I get to play on this course. The course was is in pretty good shape, however, every time that I have played there the ants have been an issue. They are on the fairways and in the rough where I inevitably either don't see them until they are on my foot or I have to straddle a hill to make my shot.
Seminole Lakes Country Club
Played On 10/11/2017Good place to practice your short game
This course is all 3 and 4 pars so it was good for me as a person who has played less than a year. There are a few challenging holes, however. On the 18th, I have yet to get it on the green and not in the water. Usually the pace is pretty quick, but there was a full house on the day that I played and I waited on every hole. The staff is very amiable.

I really like this par 3 and 4 course because I haven't been golfing that long. It gives me a chance to figure out my distance with all of my clubs, as well as my sand and pitching wedges. The staff is extremely friendly and I keep returning week after week because it's challenging yet pretty quick and they make me feel right at home there. Some of the holes are kind of close to one another, but I haven't had to yell "fore" yet, so my game must be getting better.

It's par 3 and 4 so it's great to figure out my distance with different clubs. Water can be a challenge if you slice, but I like the challenge.
