Conestoga Golf Club
Played On 03/18/2023Great course, not staff
It's a beautiful course. Challenging at times but manageable. The downfall was that unless you have a GPS app on your phone you have no idea where you're going to or the distances. The kitchen was closed at 1pm on a Saturday. Basically our group of 16 on the course yet we were hounded for playing too slow. If suggest Falcon's Ridge until the carts get GPS and the staff becomes more friendly.
Nine Hole at Bright Leaf Golf Resort
Played On 07/23/2022Awesome experience
I have never had so much fun playing golf in my entire life. Everyone was so kind and respectful. I watched a large group (dressed in hilarious costumes) pick up random trash that they didn't leave and throw it away in trash cans. I also noticed them fixing multiple ball marks left on the green by other players not in their group. This is a prime example of how to take care of a golf course. My only wish in life is that the next time I go this group of fine young men are there (especially the gorgeous African American that drove the Tesla.)
Royal St. Augustine Golf and Country Club
Played On 08/27/2021Good overall course
First of all it's August in Florida. Every course is going to be wet. This course definitely had some casual hazards but overall drained well. Interesting and fairly difficult layout. Only real downfall was the crab grass on the green.
Ventura Country Club
Played On 04/01/2021Great course always
Always love playing Ventura. The course is short but challenging. The tee boxes were iffy but good enough to find a spot to place your ball on par 3s. The greens were probably around a 10 but they do have taller patches that make your ball not roll true. All in all is a fun course to play.
Disney's Magnolia Golf Course
Played On 05/04/2020It's a Disney course, what else can I say.
You really can't go wrong with anything Disney. The course was in great condition even though we're in the Florida dry season. The staff was friendly. The starter gave us a 5 minute layout of what to expect. All in all I'm definitely coming back to this course, after I play the palm course though.
Casselberry Golf Club
Played On 03/27/2018Weird little course
So prior to playing this course I read some reviews and knew that it was a short course that was recently acquired by the city of Casselberry. I went in with higher hopes than I should have. Yes the course is short and yes it is a little challenging but just not the course for me. The greens are super small and cut a little too long. The fairways were decent, bunkers decent, tee boxes poor. If you're in the neighborhood and want a course you can play with just your irons then this is the course for you.
