LBI National Golf & Resort
Played On 08/16/2022Excellent layout and value
Played it for the second time today since they reopened a couple of months ago. The first time we played it was only a day or two after they reopened, and the conditions were understandably a little rough around the edges with the courts have been closed for three years. Today was a much different story. They’ve done a terrific Job in getting the course in really good shape, especially considering the limited time they’ve had to work with in the brutal weather conditions this summer. The greens especially we’re rolling fast and true. Hats off to the superintendent and his staff for a job well done. The layout is outstanding, and the course conditions have improved dramatically. I highly recommend it.
East Orange Golf Course
Played On 04/26/2016Great value
The golf course renovation is nearly 100 percent completed now. All 18 holes are open and course is in very nice shape...and will get even better as weather improves. The city wisely hired well known golf architect Stephen Kay to oversee the renovation and the golf course superintendent is doing an excellent job. Simply put, East Orange GC is a bargain...an enjoyable golf experience for an affordable price. New clubhouse and restaurant are under construction and will be open sometime later this year.
Hamilton Trails Country Club
Played On 09/17/2014Funa and a Great Value
Hamilton Trails is the only regulation length 9-hole course at the Jersey Shore. It's has a nice variety of holes, it's conveniently located and is an exceptional value for the very affordable greens fees. Relative to the price, the course is well maintained and pace of play is usually very good. A good track for beginners, seniors and anyone who is more interested in a fun and enjoyable round of golf than a championship caliber golf course. With 4 and 1/2 hour rounds the norm these days, you can play 9 at Hamilton Trails in under two hours, or 18 in less than 4.
