The first nine is moderately challenging while the back nine is more difficult - without knowing the course there are a number of traps and water hazards that jump up and bite you - overall the course was in good condition, the course was challenging and the overall facility was very nice - I would highly recommend the course.

Great condition with fantastic vistas and an overall great experience. The greens are fast, large and undulating. The fairways are well groomed, with a good number of traps and wide enough to make your game enjoyable. The front nine allows you to get into rythum. The back nine attacks that rythum right from the get go on #10. You never stop climbing and you keep looking at your card to see if there is a misprint on the yardage.The 12th hole is challenging with the water yearning to swallow the ball the full length of the hole and numerous traps to eat up your drives along the right side. After surviving the 12th you do not get a breather with the #1 handicap Rob's gulch.The rest of the holes do not seem to get any easier since the course has broken your mental game. But rest assure that the last two holes makes it all worthwhile when you look out on the Owen Sound with the sailboats and fishing boats bobbing in the water. No matter the score you want to come back.
