classisc, old course with very old trees. the course was in great shape, and the pace of play on a weekend afternoon at a municipal course was excellent.

the course is very dry... and the green have been recently airated so they are real bumpy. But, the price is cheap enough.

with the exception of a couple of rough tee boxes, the whole course was in very good shape.

I purchased 2 green fees on line at a substantial discount and it was a good thing... the greens were in awful condition, and the tee boxes were not cut. If I had paid the full price of $75 I would have stopped playing and demanded a refund. The course layout is beautiful, but the condition is completely opposite to the reputation it has. Very disappointed.

wish we would have known that the greens were overseeded and dressed with heavy sand.
also, there was a very large group (multiple tee times) that included 2 5-somes which slowed play very much.
