Only par 66 but don't let that put you off? Highly undulating with plenty of blind holes, we were glad we hired a buggy. Took a couple holes to get used to, as the ball is well below your feet on the first few on the way out. Beautifully scenic views over the town and some well sculptured holes, Only one par five but plenty of varying par threes, from 120 to over 200 yards with lots of straight ups and downs. I would suggest you buy a course planner, even though there are diagrams of the holes on the tee boxes. Unfortunately the Pro' shop didn't have any when we visited as they hadn't been delivered at that time. Some good advice to us from one of the members was "everything goes to the sea" and he was right.

Superb course for the money, at about a quarter of their normal visitor price. I don't understand why it's not better known outside of Northern Ireland?
A really diverse course, with plenty of ups and downs. Varying between: Links; heath-land; parkland type holes, with beautiful and historic views everywhere. Some really quirky and some blind holes too so it would bee advisable to buy a course planner on your first attempt.
We had excellent weather on the day, however I can imagine it can be a bit of a beast on a wet ant windy day if you're a 28 handicapper?
