It always helps when the weather is perfect, and, for the first time playing Old South it was an all round great round. The course is well laid out and a few holes are quite challenging from the blues particularly if you are not a consistent long hitter. The scenery alone is worth a round. The course is in good shape for the late season. The staff are quite nice and helpful.

We always enjoy playing Shipyard. It is conveniently central to Hilton Head and lots of parking. Staff is friendly and helpful. The course is in good shape. Pace of game we found slow but that is not unusual for golf these days. Looking forward to our next round.

Banty's Roost Golf and Country Club - Blue/Red

Banty’s Roost has a decent layout and is easy to walk. Course is in rough condition but still playable. Greens are ok but need some care. Club house is showing its age.
Camisle Golf Club - Land of Legend

Great 9 hole course. Good value for those learning the game or want to work on their short game. Course is getting worn but is still fun to play. Pace of game is good and it is an easy course to walk.
Galleon/Brigantine at Shipyard Golf Club

Easy to book and get set up at the clubhouse. Friendly staff and quite helpful. Course is challenging but not overwhelming for any level of golf. Late season is showing a little wear in the fairways but greens are in good shape.
