We were blown away by everything having to do with Panther Lake Golf Course. Visually stunning wherever you look. Conditions amazing. Greens as true and fast as can be expected. Challenging but fair layout. Fun holes. Great variety of lengths to play the course. Very excellent courteous helpful staff. Incredible facility. One of the best all around golf experiences we ever had. Felt like we were playing in a different state. Had always heard that Florida courses were flat. This isn't. See you again soon!

Without a doubt the most visually stunning course I've played and I've been around. Outstanding condition all around. A beautiful day on these links.
For us, The only drawback is the length of the course. I only drive the ball 180 as does my younger wife. That leaves several of the holes too long for us. Can play them for bogeys but we'd at least like to have a chance to reach most/all holes in regulation. We played from about 5,400 yards. Wish they had a set of tees that played around 5,000 which seems to be what most courses have for Red tees. We think this course plays a bit longer due to the hilly nature.
Greens are pure and fast.
We absolutely loved this place and hope to return again soon.

The moment you drive into this local gov't facility you are impressed with the Golf & Beach theme. Nice cart greeter. Especially eager to help, inform and get a chuckle out of us. Upon gazing from the first tee I could see this was going to be a good day. The course routing and hole layouts are subtle and clever all-around. The course is not easy, but not impossible. The turf conditions are outstanding. Alot of grass on fairways and greens. Rough is real rough. Greens are healthy. The grass on greens is somewhat high to keep them healthy through summer and roll slowly but very fair once we realized their speed. Some of the greens are smaller than what we are used to from more "resort" type courses we play. But t hese are fair and challenging. The bunkers came into play often. The quality of the sand in the traps is some of the finest and best I've seen, certainly even at double the price of the cost to play here. We stopped at the turn to get drinks and were impressed with the food and beverage service. We saw several platters come out of the kitchen and the burgers and sandwiches looked awesome. We were staring at diners plates out on the lovely patio on way back to our cart. Everyone in the dining area was having a good time eating, drinking and being merry. Sports on Big TV's. We definitely can't wait to come back here and enjoy the whole experience. Hope the prices don't get too high "in season".

Only play here if everywhere else is booked. City of Delray needs to get out of the golf course business completely. Government can't run a place like this. New investment is needed to revive this place. It's a shame the City has ruined this great potential amenity over the years. It's probably not the current management company's fault that the course is in horrible shape. Their is little grass in the fairways so lies are even and unfair. Very hard to make solid contact with the ball under these conditions. Good luck getting a customer to buy and upgrade the place although some holes will probably have to be re-routed to accomodate some retail and/or housing development around the course. And the price to play here will undoubtedly go through the roof. Gotta love big government, right?

From the turn into the long winding oak lined lane to the Clubhouse, you feel like you are in a special, upscale place. Greeted by excellent staff at Bag Drop and Pro Shop and Starter.
Golf course is maybe the widest open I've ever played. No feeling of claustrophobia or tree lined from set of tees we played. Could tell it gets more difficult for the better players.
Condition of the course is top shelf. Beautiful tee boxes, fairways and green complexes. I putted great(must be the greens).
Wish we could play here all the time. For me, a 15+ handicapper, its all the challenge I want, and rewards me for good shots. Not overly penal or unforgiving. Come and enjoy this great place.

From the long & winding oak tree canopy road in towards the clubhouse to the end of the day drive out of that same road, it's hard to imagine a golf facility delivering on more points than LPGA International. Everything was top notch and easy to appreciate.
The Pro Shop well stocked and friendly. The Starter very attentive. Plenty of tee box choice to make the game fun and challenging for all levels. Course is Wide Open and just lets one hit away without feeling too claustrophobic, at least from the tees we selected.
Course conditions are wonderful. Not sure if it was me, or the greens themselves, but I hit almost every reasonable lenth putt I looked at. 3 putted only once. Rare feats for me. So, it must have been the greens, lol.
Wifey and I cannot wait to return to this premiere facility.
On a side not, our weekend trip to Daytona Beach was AMAZING in every way. What a great area. Has it all!!

Enjoyed every minute of it. Course open enough to fit my eye and not feel claustrophobic. Conditions excellent. All is here to have a fantastic day on the links.

We hadn't been here to play for maybe 2 years. Reminded of us of why we like this place so much. They are very organized. Course in very good playing condition. GPS in carts is great. Fun course to play. Always a good time here.

From the moment we checked in we had a First Class experience. We could not have had a better day. We played with homeowners in the community. They had played the course a handful of times and were a pleasure to be with. My wife and I found the course to be visually beautiful, wide driving areas. A few great strategic shorter holes and fantastic conditions all around. Some dry spots in Fairways due to lack of rain, no doubt. Greens rolled great and we holed some good putts.
If I lived in the area, I'd want to join this club. It is a course I'd love to play over and over again.

Bright beautiful day shows off these 18 beautiful individuals. Ample room off the tees. Challenge comes in the form of many somewhat elevated and well protected green complexes. And then you encounter very fast undulating greens. Subtle and not so subtle breaks make even two putting a challenge. We heard the Starter state greens were running 12-12.5. Come for the beauty & the challenge. Maybe it'll bring out your best game. We all left in a great mood and felt like we belonged and wanted to come back.

Just what we wanted after a long layoff. Course is straightforward. No major tricks or gimmicks. Ample room off of tees. Entry to greens mostly open. Pretty nice looking place too. Staff wonderful and friendly to us as first timers here. Delightful experience. Fairways could use more grass. Greens are tricky and quick. Price is fair for this time of the year.

The drive in takes you to a secluded, private hideaway. Clubhouse is classy. Pro shop is beautiful and the employees we encountered(pro shop, bag person, starter, etc) were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. Started right on time. The course was fun and challenging-seemed a little longer than the GPS stated. GPS was seamless in cart. We caught up to groups in front of us and joined them around 12th hole. It was a slow slog from there on and no rangers in sight to spped up a slow twosome ahead of us.
All in all, a fun round. Beautifully kept course in excellent overall condition. Price fair. Couldn't ask for much more.

It's a public, municipal course. Run pretty well. Pro Shop is efficient. Bag boys ok. Food service alright. Golf course is just okay, not bad, not great. Could use more grass on fairways, it's a little tight with the lies. Greens are better than average. Makes for a good day on the links. Not a classy day, but okay.

Lots of doglegs. Fairly open off tees. Greens well guarded by bunkers and most ever hole has a false front so you must carry the ball and extra 10+ yards to hit greens. Don't leave ball above the hole because downhill putts are incredibly past and near impossible to leave near the hole. Greens probably cut too tight..too fast for the undulation of the greens. So, it's a challenge, but it's fun. Quite pretty course. Tough to score I would say.

Once you drive into this entrance, you are in a sanctuary of golf and nature. Top shelf amenities. The City of Boca doesn't miss a trick. Food service quite good. Great golf pics on walls. All Starters and Rangers real nice, friendly and helpful. Putting green nice. Range nice. Each hold is a good challenge, not too hard and not too tricky. Very fair setup. Greens run real nice although aerated about 2 weeks ago...nice now. Can run ball up on ground on many holes. Have to fly it on on a few. One knock may be that the par 3's are a bit on the short side, especially fron the Senior and Ladies tees. Holes are fun and challenging. Surroundings and nature are beautiful and bountiful. Too bad this place is being eradicated to build homes. Play it while it lasts!!

All around great afternoon. From the cart guy, pro shop to a really nice chatty starter we had a great day, my wife and I. My wife is an advanced beginner and we were paired with a 4 handicapper(blue tees), and a Senior player. And me, and average player. So, we were playing mostly 4 sets of tees. Could not have had a better time. My wife had her best round ever and a 40 on back 9. Great playing partners, a well conditioned course with enough challenges to keep you interested but fair enough to give us a chance. Our 4 handicap partner shot a 74 and it was beautiful to behold. He was patient and supportive to all of us. We found a Hot Deal so price was incredible. Would be willing to pay50-75% more at this time of year. Well run place.

Got what we paid for. Perfectly good facility and round of golf at a good place. Not top shelf, not bottom tier. Nice employees work hard. Lots of people who love to play golf. Pretty nice course conditions. Tee boxes not great, in general. Greens pretty slow but roll farirly. Good mixture of holes. From memory, seems like more doglegs to the right. Had a real good day and will go back because of all the things mentioned and the price was fair, not too cheap, not too much.

Fairways are bare in many spots, wet and muddy too. If one has never seen a nicely kept golf course then I imagine they'd think this one was ok. They are taking in money as the place was busy, but they are certainly not doing much of anything to improve conditions on the golf course. That said, once this was probably a decent track. Greens roll fairly and traps are ok, inconsitent amounts of sand but ok overall. Alot of hard spots in them that are hard to hit from. Tee boxes kind of weedy. Yardages are not close to being what is on scorecard or tee markers.
If you've gotta play, I guess this qualifies as golf. But it should be about 10-15 dollars less than the $30 per person we paid.

It just cannot get much better than this. From the moment we drove in the Security gate we were met with pristine "country club" conditions throughout. The place is gorgeous. Houses far enough away from play to just be appreciated and admired from a distance. Carts with GPS are top-of the line and slow down and speed up according to your position at any given time. All employees were friendly. And, eventhough a Ranger admonished our group that we were 7 minutes behind in pace of play, he was a pro about it. We were asked to skip a hole and could play it later. We were 4 golfers playing from 3 different sets of tees. The two from the back tees probably shouldn't have been playing from there. So, that hurt our experience overall but not to be blamed on Atlantic National.
The holes were mostly beautiful and if one plays the correct set of tees, a good enough challenge. Amply wide fairways. Well guarded greens. Traps have right amount of sand. Greens in outstanding condition. Very fun strategic layout.
Had a great day. Great place for golf. Top shelf, in our opinion at a medium shelf price.

Definitely a great all around golf experience. Serious place to play. Most everyone we saw certainly had high level of love and appreciation for the game, we could just tell. Not an unfair hole on the course. Ample fairways. Well guarded greens. Greens roll as well as one could imagine. Like felt on pool tables. Some very difficult hole locations which do not yield many good chances to make putts unless you leave yourself straight uphill putts and that's hard, if not impossible to do if one doesn't really know the course, greens or pin locations and undulations in the greens before hitting to them. Guess it's good for members though. Very pretty course in general. But, a few too many poorly kept homes are within sight and that is sad. I thought City of Atlantis had some sort of zoning toughness to not allow homes to fall in to disrepair and grow weeds, etc.
We'll be back to this gourmet golf experience. Keep up the good work Atlantis CC
