I’ve spent many rounds playing public and private courses. But just say, TPC Harding might be the best public course in California. The layout was terrific, the views breathtaking and conditions were wonderful.

Since there had been so much rain the last few week, the rough was as if we were playing in a US Open. Had to keep the ball in the fairways. Greens roll wonderfully and were well maintained.

There were a few bunkers that were under repair but stayed away from those.

Love the track and with a SF resident card best round for the money I’ve spent in years.

Heading back next week for sure!

Overall a decent track but not in the best of shape. The price to play exceeded what I’d have expected from a public course in modest condition. Staff were friendly and played with two very nice you g men. But unless it were the only place I could get a tee time, I’d pass. Felt the same way about Tilden in the Berkeley Hills.

This was one of my fave tracks when visiting. But we all the new home construction they destroyed much of the beauty of the course. Also all the traps were full of water which had my partners lose balls they shouldn’t have. Last time I’ll be playing there.

Wonderful public track with some of the most magnificent views in the Bay Area. A couple of greens sloped more than I’d have liked. The 16th and 17th are daunting 250 yard par 3’s. But who doesn’t like hitting driver off the tee on a par 3? Great track for the price, the views alone are with the price to play.

Angeles National is one of the elite public tracks in Southern California. The course offers an abundance of challenges but is also fair from tee to green. For the money, Angeles is one of the best deals for golf in LA.

Solid track, some brown areas but greens and fairways were terrific. Lots of challenges but fair. Keep it on he short stuff otherwise it will be a long day.
