The course condition is go down hill from three weeks ago, the rough is high, too many geese dumpings.
I am a regular golfer at pvgc. The rough was cut a day before this review and it has also gone dormant therfore the grass is no longer growing so the comment of it being too high is false. Course conditions are great and has been steadily improving. You should maybe give them a little more credit and ask questions before posting a review that is negative beings you only gave it a week after your last review. I however was courteous and asked the nice gentlemen behind the counter how everything was going and was told they had a pump malfunction and the issue is currently being fixed. Obviously something out of thier control. So sad people are so quick to just jump on sites like this just to bash companies.

Great price for weekend play. The green is little choppy, other than that, it's in good condition, pace are slow due to too many little kids on the course, specially when the growth up let the kids running around and tearing up the fair ways.

Camelback Golf Club - Ambiente Course

The course flooded by the last storm, the rough is very high, if you missed the fair way, you will have a tough time to find the lost ball.
Thanks for your review! The Ambiente course does indeed put a premium on driving, and it can be difficult to find your tee shots in the native grass areas. (Playing it as a lateral hazard is something we encourage as well.) Our Padre course has more generous fairways and is in great shape also! Thanks for your support.
