The over seed has come along very nicely. I believe this course is some of the best value you will find. Pace of play was excellent. We played in 3:55.

This course is coming through the over seed very well. It won’t be long until the greens speed up even more. Great job to all staff.

Played On 03/03/2019The front nine holes are equal to any in the greater Phoenix area when it comes to design.
Johnson Ranch course conditions are in the best condition that I have seen in my 6 years of playing golf in the east valley.

Just reopened that guests are able to drive on the fairways. I don’t believe there is better value anywhere in the East Valley to play golf. The greens are only a week or two away from being very good as well. We will be back shortly.

Hats off to the course staff for improving this golf course. The tee off boxes, fairways, and greens are in tremendous condition. I am pleased with the improvements made to the tidiness to the rest of the golf course and I am hoping that there will be some more attention and effort put in to the roughs in many parts of the golf course going forward. This golf course has definitely been greatly improved over the year.

Played On 10/30/2017The over seeded grass is coming in nicely. I am looking forward for the grass to mature,especially on the greens so that they can cut them shorter and maybe roll them to speed them up.

Played On 11/10/2015This is a great desert course. Landing areas are generous, the greens are true.
Pace of play is always good. This must be one of the best courses to play in the SE valley. It definitely is worth the trip.
Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club
Played On 04/10/2015Lack of a visible Course Marshall.
The mosquitoes were horrible. It took us very close to 5 hours to play 18 holes and nobody seemed to care how long it would take. We never saw a course Marshall between hole 3 - 17. Course condition I will say was very good but the playing experience was way below average.

Most fairways have large landing areas yet their is adequate degree of difficulty to make the course challenging.
