Awesome Course and Great Deal due to GolfNow Rewards!!!

I booked my tee time a few hours before going to the course. When I showed up there was complimentary Valet parking and they already had me on their tee sheet and treated me like I was a full paying customer. There was complimentary range balls, and ice chest on the cart with water bottles stocked. Free tees if needed and the starter gave us a nice ball mark repair tool with Waldorf Astoria on it (great souvenir.) First, the practice green and driving range were amazing and gave a great hint as to the conditions that were waiting on the golf course. I have played many upscale courses through the years and was surprised as to how pristine the course was. I expected it to be awesome and was not disappointed. This course has now become my favorite course in Central Florida, and I will gladly pay the standard rate to play again. I was able to book the course through golfnow for FREE!!! Thats right, due to my golfnow rewards program I did not have to pay even one penny. The course was challenging and accuracy is absolutely necessary. All of the greens are elevated and play about a 1/2 club longer than your normal shot. Every hole serves up a severe penalty if you go long into the green. Conservative play will typically be the best option for a low round. The greens are fast and true. Overall I would rate my experience a 10 out of 10. If you are visiting Central Florida and you only have time for a couple of rounds you need to book this one for sure. You will not be disappointed.

Really enjoyed a great round at an awesome price!!!

I finally got an opportunity to play this great course. I had heard that this course was great and I was shocked as to how awesome it really was for less than $25 thanks to golfnow. The greens rolled true and were moderately fast. I really enjoyed this course. It appears to be short according to the yardage on the card, but you have to realize that there is only one Par 5 per side. Shot placement is key at this course. Fairways were in great shape and varied from tight to wide open. This course offers quite a bit of variations from hole to hole. This is definitely a must play when in central Florida. There are plenty of bunkers and even some shots over water. I have played quite a few courses in central Florida and I think this course offers one of the best experiences compared to others within the same price range. I will definitely be returning to this course again in the future.

Course needs alot of attention!!!

Played the course with 2 friends and enjoyed the round for the most part. The course was not crowded and we discovered why after we began our round. The fairways have quite a few bare spots, the greens were like hitting into concrete greens. The course really needs to be irrigated and maintained quite a bit better. I will not play again at this course until others report back that the conditions have improved. I live in central Florida and fortunately there are plenty of other great options available to me. The price I felt was fair when you consider the cart was included. I enjoyed quite a few of the holes, but was disappointed that quality shots were not rewarded with a good lie in the fairway. I would suggest playing short of the greens and allow the ball to run up. It was not the worst I have seen, but I would suggest caution when choosing this course.

Best 9 hole course for the money!!!

This course has become one of my favorite courses to play now. My wife and I play this course at least 2 or 3 times a week. It is a great 9 hole course that is never crowded. Pace of play is easily less than two hours. There are no carts (this is a walking course) The great thing about it is the fact that the golf course has you weaving your way through historic Winter Park. The homes surrounding the course are beautiful. The staff is super friendly, and the course is in great shape. The greens are small but receptive and roll true. The tee boxes and fairways are in the best shape of any municipal course I have ever played. When you factor in the price I don't know how you could find a better deal than this place. The course will be a 100 years old next year so it has a classic design. It's not a long course but it will challenge you. The par 5 #4 is dogleg left that requires you to put your second shot on the right side of the fairway after the dogleg to take the tree that protects the left hand side of the green out of play. The par 3 #8 is my favorite hole because the green offers a serious challenge when the pin is back left. I really like this course because it requires you to think about shot placement instead of just grabbing your driver every time and ripping away.

Great Little 9 Hole Par 3 Course

This is a great little 9 Hole Par 3 course. Holes range in length from 80 yards up to 182 yards. I would estimate the average is 135 yards. Greens were in excellent shape but a little slow compared to other courses around the area. Took my teenage children that are just learning to play golf and they had a great time. There is no water on this course and each hole had sand bunkers available for your ball to find its way into. I will definitely return to play again. Great value for under 10 bucks which included a token for range balls to warm up with.

Great short course but slow pace of play!!!

This is a perfect little course as long as you are in no hurry. The course is busy all the time. It is packed with plenty of elderly players and as a result the pace of play is very slow. I will definitely play again though. I plan on taking my kids back because our pace is typically slow when I have my teenage children with me that are just learning the game. Many of the holes only require 3W or Driver and then a wedge. Perfect for boosting confidence in players that lack a great deal of distance. Overall I actually enjoyed my round since I typically don't stress about the pace of play at courses such as this. You don't need a cart for this course it set up well for walkers.

Not bad for the price!!!

The course was in good shape. It is a fairly short course, would be great to take your kids to. Overall I enjoyed the round especially considering it was less than $20 to play with cart.

Great Value for the Moeny!!! Would easily pay 3 times as much to play again.

I found the course to be challenging and a great deal of fun. The course was pristine and it was not crowded at all. It was a very windy day and that just added to the challenge. There was plenty of Sand Traps to put your ball in and the fairways were tight. I really enjoyed my round and would easily pay three times as much as I did to play it again. I will definitely be going back again and again. If you are looking for a great deal below $50 then you have to play this one. Easily one of the most enjoyable rounds I have had in quite some time.

Great course for the Price

Paid only twenty to play 18 with cart. Course was in pretty good shape. I would rate 7 out of 10. Enjoyed my round and was not crowded at all. There is no water available on course, would advise a small cooler to bring your own.
