We enjoyed the course so much on Tuesday, we had to come back on Thursday. Friendly staff, nice carts, greens and fairways in super condition, but they have some work to do on a few things.
Called early morning to book 2 sets of women's club....No can do!!! (but they got my money for the booking) Got there and their only set of ladies clubs were available, but that was it. One set?! We're not a new entity at this game! Not a mens set to be had either, with three men behind us booked to play and needing clubs as well (we had to share).
How about putting the water jugs out at the water stands...lots of paper cups though. I only found one ball washer on the course & it smelled like stagnant swamp water....nice. Saw the 'cart lady' at the start of the back nine and that was it. 85F and sunny!

Lovely course in very good condition. Some challenging holes with very little water. Greens were in great condition and the fairways were impeccable. Friendly professional staff and a clean, well-stocked pro shop.
Great golf club rental, but price was a little steep and only one set of womens' clubs available....in this day & age??? A fun round had by all!!

Booked a game last minute and were able to get in at a good time. Very open, yet challenging. Not too much water on the Cobalt Course.
Greens and fairways were in very good condition. Would have liked to have seen a Marshall on course...had a couple of duffers in front who weren't terribly considerate.
The beverage cart lady; McKenzie was attentive, polite and engaging. More then I could say for the two greeters at the start house, with one shovelling his lunch and the other dragging on a cigarette.. You could have made a quick five if you'd gotten off your butts to offer assistance or provide some direction. Your loss!!!
Management was totally plugged in and a delight to converse with. Had a very nice round!

Great value with GolfNow-Hot Deals! My favourite course in the Scottsdale area and it didn't disappoint us! Greens and fairways in excellent condition for this time of year. The Padre was very challenging and extremely enjoyable. Staff were very attentive and amenities were sufficient. Would highly recommend!!

Fairways and greens were in great shape. Not rushed and no hold ups. Well signed and easy to get around. Holes were challenging, with not too much sand to give you grief! Also had a very efficient beverage cart attendant to keep us hydrated!! Beer was a little pricey for a "not too fancy a course", however the "best egg salad sandwich that I've ever had" at the turn, certainly made up for it! The bag drop could have been better marked and was in need of sprucing up. The entrance area became a bit congested with a small tournament group, who could have used some directing. Price was reasonable and would like to play it again!

When I pulled up, I thought 2 greyhound buses had just unloaded! A crowd of golfers around the bag drop and practice putting green, which I've never experienced before. A shotgun start that was certainly not indicated in my booking, when given a tee time of 12:58 pm! ( a little deceptive, don't you think?) When we were sent out to our designated starting hole, there were no directions, just a mass scatter of obvious regulars! The course must buy their "kitty litter" by the truck load or have investments in a nearby quarry.......the bunkers were full of the stuff. Sand would have been nice!
Having said all this, it's a forgiving course and the greens, although slow, were in great shape. I was pleasantly surprised that the pace of play was adequate, considering an A & B group teeing off from each hole. Not an overly picturesque course, which borders a Hwy and RV park. Unknown if everyday is a shotgun start. Can't comment on food or it's service.

Enjoyed a wonderful round of golf at my personal favourite, that didn't disappoint me! A demanding course with very little water, yet a variety of terrain to challenge your skills! Pace of play was good, as a twosome, we finished just over 4 hours and staff were very friendly.
I love this course! The greens were fast and true and the fairways were impeccable. I can't wait to play it again.
I haven't played the Padre Course yet, so hope to give it a go, with extra balls in my bag!

Enjoyed the course. Had it's challenges with a variety of landscapes.Enjoyable for all skill levels. A beverage cart would have been nice!

Had a great game with a wonderful couple that we were paired up with. Fairways in excellent condition and the greens were fast. We'll be back!

Enjoyed the course. Very slow due to tournament play. In very good condition and was challenging for our skill level. Very scenic and holes well marked.

Challenging, narrow and well manicured fairways. The greens were in impeccable condition. A bit of a drive into the country but certainly worth the trip.
