This course was in mediocre shape. Greens were very sparse making them hard to hold and very fast. Not much grass for as much rain as we have received. Fairways and roughs were pretty good.

Our cart ran out of battery on the 16th hole. When we called the pro shop, we got an answering service that said there wasn’t anyone left in the pro shop and we were left to our own devices. We limped the cart back to the main rode and walked back to the clubhouse to get another cart. No concessions were offered for our trouble. Turned our already long round from 4 1/2 hrs to almost 6 hrs. We did go back and finish the round.

We had a wonderful day playing Catalina course at Tucson National. Members that we played with were very gracious. Course was in very nice shape. Greens were very challenging to read.

In this day of COVID, the starter was not wearing a mask. It is the first course that we actually had seed containers. We are hoping that they are being sanitized. The greens still need to recover from reseeding but they were rolling pretty good. Overall the whole course was in good condition.. pace was good. We didn’t have to wait on any tee box.
