We spent a week in Myrtle Beach and nothing their could match these greens. True, fast, and large.
We were a group of nine and there was a tournament just finishing up, but the staff were great to us and got us sorted and on the course very smoothly. Can't wait to go back.

First time playing and was paired up with a good guide. 5 o6 holes played 'cart path only' due to wet conditions but the greens were excellent. Great blend of doflegs and quite a few uphill aproach shots. a good test. I think I'll be back. (played again the next day - cart path only due to rain but still very enjoyable). Got to add a shout-out to the staff. they were awsome both days. Thank you folks, you made me feel like I was a member.

Played Sands and Piper. Nothing special other than location (we were staying in Sandpiper Bay). If you can find a good Hot Deal, it's fine. Otherwise you're better off playing the Reese Jones course across the street. The conditions are good and greens are consistant.

A long time has passed since we were here. Unfortunately the course is not weathering any better than the 3 of us. The course is very playable and just needs a bit of attention. I don't even mind that the cart paths are horrible (I don't play on the cart paths), that is just aesthetics. However that and a couple of greens that have had a fungus issue in a couple spots does tarnish an otherwise beautiful gem. If you can get a good Hot Deal, play it.

First time playing here. What a treat. Great views, fantastic location and in very good shape. We were concerned about the pace at the start. It was very busy but everyone moved along well. Just a bit of a back up on 16, 17, & 18, but you will understand when you play these finishing holes. Demanding and picturesque. Select the appropriate tees and enjoy a fantastic day.
We will be back in the spring for sure.

CON - desperate golfers looking to escape isolation results in no golf bargains to be found
PRO - once on the course, you are on your own. It was like our private course. Social distancing is a breeze.

Course conditions - greens were far slower than expected.

Cool and windy but such a joy to play real greens with speed. Need to find a way to get back here.

Weather warmed up enough to let the ball fly some and we took advantage. Very well kept course with perfect greens. A round of golf in under 4 hours on HHI is always appreciated.

Perfect greens. Would love to have played this in reasonable weather. Perhaps next trip.

Thanksgiving Day and all were home prepping dinner leaving the course for us. Blue skies and only a wisp of breeze. Fantastic layout. Very visually pleasing. Would like to come back soon.

I was a member here for 15 years and had not been back in a couple. So nice to see the speed of the greens are up again. New challenges here. Fewer bunkers for sure, but much more tall grass if you stray too far from your targets.
You need to stay focused at all times. I even encountered of few of those nasty stinging nettles.
I've missed you old pal.

Perfect course conditions right now. Shame the pace was so slow today.

While not what it was 3-4 years ago, Mystic still can force the best from your game. Holes 9 & 10 into a two club wind will test your medal. The course was very damp from the downpour the night before, but very playable with receptive greens.
