The course has a fun layout and even with a very busy sat. I felt the pace of play was very good. The condition of the course left much to be desired. The tee boxed were not great the fairways were decent with some washed out areas. The greens were probably the worst part.....one green in particular had about 20-30 square patches where they were trying to repair an area that had been lost. The flag was no where near this area but I find it unacceptable to charge what they charge and have these issues and others not mentioned going on. The staff was welcoming and ever single staff person I ran into made me feel welcome..even though I gave the course high marks because i did enjoy the day I really dont see finding myself back here

Fun course with a few quirks. Played the blue tees and on every hole there seemed to be a bunker with a high lip you had the carry at around 220 yds. Which usually isn't a problem but if you miss hit your drive you are in one and almost no chance to go for the green. Second quirk is seemed like all the green were tabletops greens with lots of bunkers protecting them. That said the course can be challenging. Overall though I did like the course. The fairways,greens and tee boxes were in perfect shape. A good mix of holes. I would definitely play again given the chance.

Played on an Early Sunday Morning. Got a good deal about half the normal rate. The course had a fun layout for the most part not just a back and forth course and very quiet peaceful setting. There are a some homes bordering the course but you don't have to worry about hitting them as they are pretty much well set back. The greens for the most part were well kept. The fairways and tee boxes did have some bare spots but overall not a problem. Maybe if I paid full price this would have been an issue. They have a nice short game area and an extra large practice putting green.They do have a driving range as well. They have a large snack (beer) stand after 9 and b4 10. Staff was friendly for the most part. Overall this course is a solid discount option for the area. Yes there are better courses in the area but do they have as good of a deal? I would play again if in the area for a deal.

Played the course after a hard morning rain. The course is a good muni course the fairways and tee boxes are average. The greens I would rate above average as they were not beat up like a lot of muni courses. The pace of play was a little slower than expected for a b4 7 tee time. Had two foursomes in front of us that were all walking and could have been part of the problem. Most of the people I saw playing here were walking as it seemed a fairly easy course to walk. Staff was friendly. Overall is it a quality course.

Played the course as a guest in a tournament. The course conditions were great the greens ran true and the tee box and fairways were good. The layout is up and down hills with a few blind shots and a few huge elevation changes. Lots of old mature trees to get in your way if you are not hitting it straight. 18 and 9 are big sweeping doglegs right. Not a fan of either holes. The staff was hit or miss. The kid at bag check and running people back and forth to there cars was great the people in the pub area either didn't want to be there or didn't want us there don't know which.

This course is on the shorter side and probably more for the beginner golfer. Played early on a Sunday morning and it seemed like everyone there was a regular at that time. The layout is solid....a good mix of different holes. The greens were average and the fairways and tees I would have to give a below average. But lots of courses in NJ are having the same moisture problems this year. The starter and the check-in people were very friendly and welcoming.

Solid course nothing bad to say about it nothing great to say about it either. Conditions are average to above average. Not really any memorable holes here. Lots of trees on almost every hole on both sides of the fairways. It's a fair course but you really need to hit it straight here. Didn't eat after teh round but it does have a nice looking bar area.

The course has been completely redone and I really liked the new layout. The course was in very good condition but does have some growing in to do. The greens and bunkers were brand new and in perfect shape. Fairway and tees also in good shape. The par threes are some of thier best holes (picturesque). The food after the round was very good.

I wanted to like this course but at the end of the day it just seemed average all around. The tee boxes were not very good the fairways had lots of bare spots. The greens had lots of undulation and ran true for the most part had so bare spots and definitely aren't the nicest to look at. I understand it has been a challenging summer for courses in the area but just didn't seem up to the other around. The layout is fun and a good challenge but very fair. Well placed bunkers throughout and nice sand in them as well.

I play here couple times a year. The course has gone through some solid improvement. The greens are on par with pricey country clubs in the area. The fairways and tee boxes are good. The layout is fun and challenging. A good mix of holes that make you think about your shots. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I wish the price was a little better but I get it....it's a pricey piece of real estate. the food in the bar is good.

I really liked this course. Had a very fun layout and the conditions were perfect tee to green. Every hole is different. Had some blind shots which I usually hate but for whatever reason they seem to fit well into the layout of this course and don't feel forced. Food was above average after the round

Very well keep course Tee to Green. Layout was very challenging and good variety of holes. Not sure if it's worth the price tag of Membership but it was fun to play for the day. The forecaddie we had to take couldn't read a putt and offered little help during the round.

Conditions were above average tee to green. Had a solid layout but a couple holes do run parallel and seem similar. Course was wet when we played but same everywhere this summer. Not really any memorable holes but still a fun track. I would play again given the chance

Played Sunday 130. Pace of play non issue. Course was fun to play excellent mix of holes all different and separate from each other. Played the blues and course was kinda short and definitely don't need to use driver on most holes. Staff was friendly....had a burger at the restaurant and it was pretty good. $65 I felt was a good price for this course. Can't wait to go bad and give it another go.

Played at 8am weekend morning zoomed through 9 holes 1 half hour and hit a back up on the back. Ended up being 4 hour round. Greens were above average condition fairways and tee boxes below average. Scenic at times where holes were close to the river other holes nothing special. Fairly wide open course with a few tight wooded holes mixes in. Staff was friendly enough. I would playy again

I have played this course many times. Usually very busy on the weekends but with that said they do a good job with pace of play. Never a five hr round here. The layout is decent and challenging. The greens are usually in good shape but the fairways usually could use some attention as well as the tee boxes. They have put some money into the course and it shows. Couple holes are almost always cart path only. Staff is friendly. They keep raising the rates though.

Played mid week around 2. The. Course was for the most part empty. Conditions were very good. Pace of play wasn't an issue since the course was empty.

Played mid-week in windy weather. The course played very short from the white tees. Probably would play further back next time but due to the wind and no course knowledge teed it forward. Course was in great shape fairways rolled nice and greens rolled true. Nice layout no pace of play issues...couple older guys walking let us play thru without issue. I will definitely return here.

First I am not sure what all the complaining is about from recent reviews. I played on 10/17/13 and all but one of the greens was in great shape. The one slight problem one the green still was more than puttable. It did have some less than perfect spots NO. 14 for the record. With all that being said the course is in great shape. I was a single that Sunday and tee'd off 7:45 and played thru two groups and was done by 11:00.

I played this course on a Sunday and some holes were in great shape and others were just in terrible shape. Mostly the problems were in the fairways. Some of the greens had Hornets nest in the ground on or around them. The layout is a fun mix of holes. Could have done without the few that ran parallel with the high voltage lines. I would like to go back when the course is in better condition but with the conditions I played on I will be staying away for awhile. The beverage cart did come around almost every three holes which I thought was a plus.
