Played Eagle Chase as they always have very firm greens and handle wet conditions well. Yet again they did not disappoint. The greens were firm and no bare spots on them. The fairways were dry and had a spot or two that were bare. Grass is still dormant but compared to other Charlotte courses the conditions are amazing. Go play it and it’s always worth the drive.

The course is in really good shape. Greens rolling quick, a little soft but not a problem. The fairways are dormant and grass was thin. Not in bad shape just winter conditions. For the area and the weather conditions they have done well. Held back the 5 star rating due to a few spots on the course that need some TLC. Worth the ride and will be back.

Played on a weekday and the pace was great under 3.5 hours. The greens were great, a little soft but rolled very true and good speed, about a 10. Rest of course in great shape, lots of green grass. Improvements are working.

The fairways and tee boxes were in solid shape no real issues there. The edges of the course (rough, cart path, etc) and not well maintained at all.

The greens! Were awful, they said they punched them 3 weeks ago when I played and it looked like it was done 2 days ago. The greens were very furry and impossible to predict. It’s not worth anything over $30. The greens are that bad.

Staff was very nice, no problems there. Just waaayy over priced.

Course is in good shape, greens were rolling good, I’d would give it 5 stars if it was cheaper (also they sold 30 warmup balls for $7, too pricy). Greens were good except for 2 random bare spots on 2 greens didn’t have any grass, due to lack of sun I think. The pins were in great spots and it’s worth the drive to play it. Pace was pretty bad, just need a starter so singles and twosomes don’t go out alone.

Great fairways, tee boxes, and greens. Course in great shape. Lots of bugs/gnats always at this course FYI.

I’m a mid handicap and play golf weekly. The course was in great shape, it’s not perfect but it’s great. The greens look slow but are not slow at all, roll really well and at least an 11, could easily be faster if it were warmer.

The course is tough layout but gettable. Requires to to use 3-wood or irons off many tees or be accurate with driver. Well worth a 5 star rating. I withhheld due to edges of the course being sparse and not manacured but never had a bad lie due to the course management.

The course was in great shape and played amazing. First time and the practice facility was very nice. The course was a touch wet due to recent hurricanes and cold rainy weather, but only had 1 shot plug all day. Great drainage and pace of play. The greens are the best I’ve seen at a public course in Charlotte. Worth every dollar.

The greens are worth 5 stars ( a little soft but roll great)! The rest of the course is plenty green but the grass is not very full/thick. No bare spots just not dense grass (causing a little more soil contact). Soil is pretty damp due to lots of rain this summer, just hit your shots clean. Overall a great value ($25) and rough is actually hard like it should be.

The course is really suffering from major winter kill on some greens. Despite that they did a good job putting pins away from it. The greens are rolling very nice and course is very green. Before you hit an approach shot be sure to hit away from winter kill on the 4-5 holes that have it. Great value as always!

I play out here at least once a month. They charge a little too much for the course conditions compared to courses nearby. They have a great layout and good off course amenities. The fairways are green and in good condition.

The greens are spotty at times and are very very soft. Even chips leave divots. Doesn’t look like many players fix them and they are massive, so it’s bumpy and the greens are slow! Need better management of the greens, will probably start dying as it heats up.

Course was not busy at all I played by myself and only ran into 2 groups all day. Staff were very nice. Practice facility is great with chipping area and putting green. The course has a really fun layout with lots of elevated shots. Greens are excellent, fairways have a patch or two(very limited) but great for this time of year. Worth every penny for the long drive from CLT.

We got a $30 Tee time and it was a decent round. The course is in decent shape for the winter and the greens are soft. Greens are pretty wet at times, pretty slow too. I imagine all this will change as weather begins to be more favorable.

We played and the course was a fun layout without penalizing you too much for bad shots. The rough was in good shape with the edges of the course not maintained to well. Otherwise, the fairways, rough, and bunkers were in good shape. The greens were not very great. They were spotty and very thin grass. Not aweful just bumpy on a few putts. We paid $31 for a late afternoon round and it was worth the money, I wouldn't pay any higher than that.

I've played here before and it was worth the money. This time was different the greens were destroyed. They blamed it on the heat but no other courses in the area were this bad. They have not taken care of it and it looks like they never watered it.

Good course but it will not be in decent condition for at least a few months. Some are so bad they will have to replace the greens.

The course looked great. The greens need some serious work as they are beat up pretty bad. The course layout is fun and a little more technical.

Otherwise the rest of the course was in great shape with nice fairways and rough areas.

Played and it was good. Some areas are not always well kept. Overall course is in good shape and challenging.
