West at Woodlands Country Club
Played On 01/20/2020Course Condition
First off I am glad I didn't pay the going rate of $89.00 for this course. We had a foursome.
Played other courses for what we paid that were in much better shape.
Greens had numerous bare sand areas. Tee boxes had mostly sand, but a few were ok.
The fairways were basically very thin grass , with a lot of bare ground. Definitely not worth $89, and what else is available at $45 not worth that.

Played On 03/06/2015Course needs help, Not worth the money
The condition of the course especially the greens was in poor condition.
Numerous dead spots on most of the greens which have an attempt to hide them with green sand. Tufts of grass (weeds) growing in patches on most greens. Especially the first three holes. The fairways did not have much grass on them, and had lots of mud patches. The bunkers need maintenance with several having the under matting coming through. Most bunkers don't even have rakes in order to fix foot prints.
My partners and I were very disappointed in the course, and felt it was a waste of our money. For what they charge you would have expected better conditions, considering other courses in the area which are the same cost or less which are in much better condition.
Starter was friendly, but the pro shop person seemed like we were bothering him.
I think they are spending the money on the numerous housing developments throughout the course that are being worked on and not the course.
First time at this course for us, and the last.
