Cream Ridge Golf Club

Piece of plate was great. The course conditions were excellent and I have to say overall it’s one of the better value golf outings in the Ocean County area. It rivals with some of the better more popular courses like Jaworski courses that I’ve played.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis

First time for me at Atlantis. I’ve already played there a 2nd time and gotten an OC Card. Starters were very accommodating; jockeying Start times to get us out together and giving us helpful info on green speeds and rough conditions of certain holes. Course is wide open helping to keep some errant shots in play. Greens played slow but they were true and in great condition. One of the better Courses I’ve played this year. More water than sand so you might want to lay up instead of going to the green; especially on 14.

Many challenging holes. A good amount of greenside bunkers so lay up unless you have decent iron and wedges. Greens were challenging. Most were moderately slow and several were quite sloped so make sure your approach shots leave you with an up slope putt because if you are hitting downhill you better sink it or you could run off the greens
Blue Heron Pines Golf Club

Course is great; good balance of Par 3 and Par 5 holes. Enough water hazards to make play challenging and more than enough bunkers especially green side bunkers to be a pain in the tail. But if you play smart and lay up when you should then you can stay out of most of them. Greens had been recently rolled so I thought they'd be fast but they weren't. Although if you're not a good putter the contours are challenging. I misread several breaks but it forced me to spend some extra time reading them.

Many improvements in the overall course; drainage being one that sticks out. Price is very reasonable and the course design is a plus; good balance on par 3 holes along with some real challenging par 4's and 5's. Greens were slow which made long putts especially uphill putts a challenge. Should have hit a few on your practice green to get a feel for the pace but from the look of the practice green it might have been rolled recently while the course greens were pretty soft. Would also be nice if Gophers would fix their ball marks.
Harbor Pines Golf Club

Hollers that score in the 80’s and low 90’s will enjoy the challenges this course provides. Better have strong Irons play and solid chipping is a must or you’ll spend a good amount of time at the beach. Green side bunkers are deep so avoid them or add 2 strokes to your score for the hole. Well worth the course fees!
Harbor Pines Golf Club

Lot of down hill greens so keep your approach shots below the pin or risk some long roles past the hole if you misread the putt. Otherwise the Course is in great shape and provides some challenging holes.
Harbor Pines Golf Club

Course design is terrific. Generally wide open fairways and well manicured greens. Challenging but fair design allows opportunity to recover from occasional poor shot. If you play here you should have a good short game since there a lots of deep green side bunkers. If you can’t avoid them plan on adding a few stokes to your scores

Course was in great shape despite being hit hard ny Tropical Storm Isasis last week. Greens were in very good shape and relatively fast. Fairways are wide which allows for a slice or hook to stay in play. Good mix of short 3 stroke pars along with a nice blend of par 4’s and 5’s.
