Nice course. Reasonably well conditioned, nice rolling greens, firm set up. Some areas in fairways that need work (ant hills, ground under repair), but overall not too bad. Bunkers needed to be power raked too. Good driving range. Played on a Golf Now discount for $25. Enjoyed playing it and would again.

Some loss of golfing ambience early on, with several holes bordering I-75...serious traffic noise could be distracting.

Took over 5 hours to play...an outing where 20+ handicappers were playing the Black tees slowed play down considerably. Rangers and course could have easily prevented this. Disappointed that the course didn't act.

Nice course. Excellent greens and bunkers. Fairways were a bit furry and could use some TLC. Last 14 holes were very nice in a classic tree lined northern Michigan setting. Staff could use some work. Used golfnow to make my tee time and was promptly told it cost me more money to do that then pay them directly.... don't enjoy being told I am stupid when I am paying to play. I thought $59 was a little high for this course, but it is a value compared to most courses in the area.

Very playable course...starts out with 2 short par 4's to get you warmed up. Relatively wide fairways (except for #2 and #10). Nicely manicured (did have a couple of dead fairway areas that need help) and greens were well conditioned, fairly fast, and with some tricky contours. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely play again.
