the course is a work in progress I hope this year, haven't played it in a couple years, but would go back and that's a large step up from before.
Superstition Springs Golf Club

I really miss the water on the 9th hole.
Feel like this was their signature hole and are missing the “boat” on this. Bring back ball washers and the second hole was missing tee boxes. So sad, what a great course it used to be
Apache Creek Golf Club

Course was in less then ideal shape. Lots of sand on fairway. Poorly maintained, no water for cleaning balls.
Finished around 4, restaurant was closed even though sign said open till 5pm. Pro shop was not overly friendly.

Haven’t played here in a few years. Was impressed with the condition and pace of play. Greens played tough and looking forward to getting back here. Staff was very friendly and had fun in the restaurant for dinner and karaoke .
If this course impressed you, I hope you get a chance to play some other ones while you are visiting. The locals can tell you, this is a one star course for Az.

Ahwatukee Country Club

Golfed here again on Jan.10. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape, and greens were good but a little hoppy. staff was amazing as always. At the turn went in for a hot dog which took a little longer then it should but it was worth the wait. Finished the round and dropped by Macayo’s for happy hour. Sonny is a great bartender, the Margaritas are amazing and so are the appetizers. Had the mini chimichangas this round
