Hands down, this is one of the best courses I have played in the 18 years I have lived in Florida. Plush fairways, huge greens that run true, and friendly staff - what more could a high handicapper want? Fewer bunkers, maybe?

I used a Hot Deal to find this great price. But the normal price will not keep me away from this gem.

I have played this course a number of times. It is a great layout and offers challenges for all levels.

I very much wanted to play alone in honor of my father, something I do on Father's Day every year. I played behind a threesome, which was fine - and I resigned myself to a slow round.

But I quit after 13 holes because the wait times on each tee box became longer and longer. Oh well.

I jumped on a Hot Deal. I arrived early and was able to get out right away because the course was not busy.

What I liked: even though the fairways were dotted with weeds, there was plenty of grass to be found. It had been raining all week but the course had drained well.

What I didn't like: Not that my ball found its way into them, the bunkers were dirt, not sand.

First time at the Legends. Despite the fact that the greens had been recently aerated, they were in great shape. Putts ran true.

I no longer use a driver, hitting only my trusted 3-wood off the tee. I try to use tees at about 6000 yards. I did that here, but some of the par 4's were way out of my reach. In other words, they were challenging.

Thankfully, I was paired with three members, who pointed out the really tough shots and suggested ball placement. Thanks for that!

I would go another round on this course.

I have played here multiple times and have always enjoyed the course, which is in great shape. While I tend to not submit reviews, I had to do so after playing on a very hot and humid day. ONE of the water stations had water. The other water stations were empty. I called the pro shop twice, only to be told that they were working on it.

Forewarned: bring your own hydration!

Mystic Dunes was a pleasant surprise. The course is beautiful. I knew that the course was transitioning from winter to summer grasses, so I easily overlooked minor issues on the greens. It will likely take a few rounds to figure out those greens, however.

I will return - and hopefully improve on my score!

I had never played Providence. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the greens, which had recently been seeded and plugged. Had I known, I would not have booked a tee time. Nonetheless, I will return, as I found the course to be a good test of my still-developing skills.

Given time, I think this executive course could become a good one. The day I played, half the greens were in poor shape and the fairways were rather bare in places. But, a good test of your short game and a good value for the cost.
