We played the course on Tuesday Oct 3rd.The greens on the front 9 are all covered in sand. It would have been nice if there was a heads up on the website or they told you when you checked in. The greens on the back 9 were in really good shape. The fairways on both the front and back were in excellent condition. The back 9 was fabulous and had great photo opportunities with the beautiful views. Watch out for the huge alligator which was another photo opportunity.

I was kind of surprised to see the condition of the fairways on the gold course. They need a little work. Maybe they are transitioning to their summer grass. The day before we played Pebblebrook and theirs were in excellent shape.
The greens on the gold course were in fantastic shape. Lots of undulations and speed was very good. The tee boxes were also in good shape.

We played the hill course which was challenging. The greens were small and some were elevated so you have to be careful on your approach shots or the ball will roll off as we found out quiet a bit...lol. The greens were in great shape and rolled very nice. The fairways was also in great shape. It is a beautiful goldlf course and we will definitely play it again.

The course for the money is a good deal. The greens were in good shape and rolled really well. The fairways and tee boxes need a little work.

The pace of play wa very slow. The back 9 took 2 hours and 45 minutes with no ranger moving golfersbalong. Total time was 4 hours and 45 min.

Fairways are in good shape and so are the greens. Good value for the money.

This course has great views with elevated tees. The course was in great shape. You might make a few donations on some errant shots. We play this course everytime we come into the San Diego area, one of our favorites.

The fairways were in great shape as were the greens. The lot of the tee boxes need some work to level them out and plant grass areas that have over used. The new ladies tee boxes are level and great shape.

The fairway with the new grass in was in great shape. I was still no driving the carts on the fairways until 11/4. The greens were also in great shape.
For the women, they made new tee boxes that reduced the yardage for them. It was just ove 5500 yards to maybe 4600 it appears. I know my other have appreciated it.
It would be nice to have these conditions the rest of the year (summer).

The course is filling in nicely since over seeding. It is still cart path only.

It's a good value for this time of year. Play was slow. There wasn't a ranger to address the slow play. There was no food or beverage person. You could buy beverages at the pro shop.

What a great course with outstanding views. The fairways and greens were in fantastic shape. The tee boxes could use some work. Will definitely play this course again.

Course was in very good condition with the exception of the 17th fairway. Lots of areas without grass and very sandy. All the other fairways were in very good shape. The greens were in very good condition as well as the tee boxes.

The tee boxes were in very rough shape. The fairways in a lot of spots are dirt and need grass to grow. The greens were in good shape.

The course is very picturesque. There are lots of blind tee shots and up hill shots. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape. The tee boxes are a different story. Most of the white tee boxes are not level at all. Other than the tee boxes a great course to play.

The course was just punched and 10 days ago. Another week or 2 and this course will be in fantastic shape. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 rating. Played in 3 hours.
