Not sure what causes the extremely slow pace of play at Diamond Bar. Second time I suffered through a 6 hour round. Maybe over-booking is the cause. But I never once saw a marshal checking the course for pace of play. Won't be back on a weekend ever again.

I brought 3 players with me who never played the course before. They really liked the course layout and setting and all had a good time. Downside is slow pace of play and lack of on-course amenities (such as very few drinking water coolers, no beverage carts even on weekends, and believe it or not a total lack of trap rakes). More attention to the little things would be a big improvement.

Made same day tee time and got a good time at great price. The course was in pretty good shape overall, with the greens being in very good condition. The pro shop and restaurant staff were extremely pleasant and courteous. This is my go-to local course. Only knock is once in a while pace is slow, but not this latest round which we finished in just under 4 hours.

pace was extremely slow (6 hours) due to very slow group ahead. Marshal was not effective in speeding it up. Made for a very frustrating round.

Course is very well maintained. Greens and fairways were all in great condition. Staff very friendly. Great experience if you want to do 18 in under 3 hours and have fun.

course was in good condition. somewhat challenging for a muni. pace was above average on a Sunday in prime time. starter, course and restaurant staff all were friendly and helpful. no better bargain in north OC

Would not revisit this course because of poor staff.
