Legacy continues to be one of our favorite places to play when in town. The course is in excellent condition, well maintained and plays very fair. Greens are ample, slightly elevated and play true. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Special Kudos to our starter for having warm water available for our towels. A much appreciated touch when you have an early tee time! Pace of play was great. Always a pleasure to play and visit this course.

Unfortunately only played 9 but found the course interesting and challenging. Elevated greens were hard and difficult to stick unless you could hit a high approach shot that didn’t have much impetus. Greens were bumpy and didn’t quite roll the same as the practice green. Overall, enjoyed the desert like terrain. Pace of play was overall good. Finished 9 holes within 2.5 hours. Staff was great to work with. Would be interested in returning for a full round.

Course was in very good condition. The fairways were pretty ample, except #16 which was oddly angled. In true Trent Jones style, the greens were small, elongated or heavily graded and difficult to stick. Once putting, greens rolled pretty true. Most greens were also guarded by bunkers. So even tho not a long course, all facets of your short game will be tested. Staff was very friendly and helpful. #15, the island green hole was fun and will demand you put your inner demons aside!

We were back up anywhere from 2 to 3 groups on every hole. The pace of play was painful. Tried to get a rain check for the balance because it wasn’t fun waiting on every single hoke at least 5 minutes. Was told I couldn’t get a rain check for 9 holes because I already paid for a twilight rate. I get the policy but there was no way we had a fair chance of finishing the round at that pace. Was also told there was an outing causing the backup. Is it really fair players get penalized because the course doesn’t enforce reasonable course management? Sometimes there just are exceptions to your rules Silver Lake or start managing your pace of play.

Course was immaculate condition. Layout good. No real blind spots but GPS helped. Staff and amenities were excellent. Fairways were somewhat narrow requiring fair amount of accuracy. "Dessert" areas were relatively easy to hit out of. Greens were quite fast. Fly overs from nearby airport a little unsettling but certainly added to the unique atmosphere. Would definitely play again.

This Course is not laid out well. Seemed in many ways an afterthought added on. Many blind shots. Frustrating if you’re not familiar with Course. Many Tee boxes were really dirt covered mounds.. the back was far more scenic. We got a discounted rate but still felt it was overpriced for conditions. Would not replay this course.
