The course is in great shape for the dead of Winter. The improvements are immediately noticeable by the new golf carts. The carts have electronic monitoring to keep you out of forbidden areas. Areas around tee boxes and greens are cordoned off. The greens are in great shape for January but they are much faster than June. A few wash outs and bogs but not enough to effect play. Love the layout of this course, too. Highly recommend it.

It’s been a year since a hurricane severely damned this course. The club house is still being rebuilt but the course itself is in pretty good shape for winter ball. Debris is still there in spots but not in play. The trees lost have given the course a more open feeling.
For the price, this is a very good value and still a fun course to play.

Great course for the money. Greens and tee boxes are in great shape for Winter in Ga. must be the rye. Friendly staff. Great value.

The course is almost always fun no matter what time of year. The tee boxes and fairways were a little soggy which is strange because we haven’t had that much rain. The greens were fast and the fairways did not have a lot of roll. But it is November so the grass is different.

Free air show too as the fighter planes and commercial flights were constant. But due to the layout this course is always a pleasure.

Love the “new” layout of this old Savannah course. With a few exceptions the course is wide and friendly with few water hazards.

The greens are tight and fast this time of year with only one in need of repair. The cart paths are real paths and not paved.

Overall the Course is challenging but fair.

To be fair we played the day after a deluge and at the end of one of the wettest summers on record. It was soft but not flooded. The greens were good and the fairways lush. Can't do much about the mosquitoes.
