This course is vastly improved after their renovation. Greens, tee boxes, and fairways were all in great shape.

No grass on several tee boxes
Fairways are almost bare
Most greens are ok
Extremely crowded. Pace very slow
3.5 hours for par 60 course

Cart guy watches you load/unload your own clubs. No water or ice available at all, even with temp at 103°..... There’s a sign saying they are adding $2.50 per golfer to pay the cart guy since he sanitized your cart.
I am playing several courses in this area and this is the only one not lugging bags or providing ice.

You can already see improvement in the greens. The course is challenging for duffers like me, but may have too many short par 3s for accomplished golfers. The new GM and assistant are very friendly and have high hopes to upgrade this course.

I like this course and play it several times on the off season. However, our foursome was forced to wait at every tee. I’m not sure what the group in front of us was doing, but they had no clue about golf etiquette. By nine holes, there were 3 empty holes in front of them. We stopped at the turn and asked if someone could speak to them, but we’re told no one was available. It took 5+ hours to play 18.

I like this course. The layout is challenging, but not so hard that a duffer cannot play, The only issue is the greens. They have lots of crabgrass and it affects putting. Remove the weeds and plant grass to fix the greens.

The only issue was the greens had been aerorated so putting was difficult. The rest of the course was in great shape even with the extensive rain we’ve received in the last 30 days.

I like this course and have played it several times. However, it was badly flooded today and should have been closed. There was water everywhere and the course was very muddy .

Course needs a lot of attention. Tee boxes are overgrown and greens are very slow.
There are no cups at the ice machine. When we asked the pro, he would only give us 1 each. When we mentioned the excessive heat, he still would only give us 1 each.
We got the impression he did not like GolfNow golfers.

We’ve played this course many times. I like the layout and the pace of play is usually ok. However, the greens were in the worst shape i’ve ever seen the last time we played. They were hard as concrete and it was impossible to both putt and chip. They need to plant some grass and keep it maintained.

When we arrived for our tee time, the head pro told us it was walking only due to heavy rains the day before. We are all over 65 and balked since it was 90+ with 90+ humidity. So, the pro said he would comp us 18 to play another day with carts and play whatever we could in the heat so we didn't waste the trip. It was absolutely brutal, but we survived with one player getting nauseous and one quitting after 14 holes. When we returned to the pro shop to get our comp, the pro informed us that the GM had said, since it was a GolfNow tee time, we would have to call them. BUT, if they couldn't help us, he would.
So, I called GolfNow this AM & " Ceil" told me the only way they could help is when the course is closed due to weather. I called Quail Run back and spoke with the GM. He basically said, " Oh, well. There's nothing I can do. The pro was wrong and we will not stand by his promise."
We would never have walked the course in those weather conditions without the pro's offer to comp 18.
