The course is in very good condition the greens are in especially good shape and are fairly quick. The pace of play the day I played was very good, 4 hour round.
Definitely will play again.

I always enjoy this layout, a fair challenge. The course is in good shape with the greens rolling well and moderately quick.

Perfect weather, good company, and although it was a holiday the pace of play was decent, 4 hr 20 min. round, not terrible if a tad slow. Course is in very good condition with fairly quick greens. Always enjoy playing Eagblebrooke..

The course is in really good shape this season, especially the greens and T boxes. The greens were fairly quick and with the slope on some were a challenge. This course can be a bit tough for some players especially the 3rd through 5th holes. Enjoyed the round, pace of play in the afternoon was really good considering the course was really busy.

Played On 01/12/2023This Course is in great shape
Hadn't played here for a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course. Tee boxes and greens were notable for being in great condition. Pace of play was reasonable considering that the course was busy. The gentleman in the pro shop helped me out with a self imposed problem I had with a Golfnow booking, nice guy.

Played On 03/06/2020Decent course, bad experience
We had a 12:55 T time booked several days in advance. No warning that there was shotgun start tournament that afternoon. They slotted us in to a vacant T time amid the tournament. 2: 25 for the front nine and when we got to the T at 10 there were 5 twosomes waiting for the fairway to clear to hit. Nuts! I would advise anyone booking with Golfnow to call the course in the morning to see what is going on that day. We would have cancelled had we known. We drove 15 miles to play the place and left after nine holes. A plus 5 hour round, possibly was not how we hoped our day would go at Huntington Hills.

Played On 01/10/2020Fun Track to :Play
This is a fun track to play in that it's not a typical Florida Course, i.e. fairly flat with lots of water. This course has a fair bit of elevation some interesting elevated tee shots and some greens that have a lot of slope especially on the back nine. On this particular day, they had a shotgun tournament in the morning which backed up the tee times by 30 minutes or more. You really should be informed when booking that there will be a tournament and there may be delays. I was 40 minutes early for my tee time to allow for traffic and as a result of the delay had a long wait. They also had run out of carts which exacerbated the delay.

Played On 12/19/2019Nicest track in the Lakeland area.
I always enjoy playing this course. Enough challenge from the correct Tees with some tough holes if you are out of position. The course this December is in excellent condition, the greens aren't exceptionally fast and a bit grainey but in really fine condition otherwise.
This course for the quality is a good value this time of year, rates usually go up in February and it gets a little pricey but nothing like a lot of equal quality courses in Orlando.
Thank you for taking the time to rate our facility. Come back again soon!

Played On 03/16/2019Nice layout, good greens.
Played this track frequently this year and enjoyed it especially since they did a lot of refurbishment with new greens, new sand in the bunkers and they retired their old fleet of carts. You have to know where to hit it on this course in order to have a chance on most holes. 3,4,and 5 can be tricky and require accuracy of the T. Got lucky today, Saturday, as it was quiet so got around in 3 hours as a twosome. Some weekdays can be pretty slow as it's much busier this year. Still good bang for the buck.

Played On 03/07/2019Really nice Layout
This is my favorite course in the Lakeland area. Played from the correct tees for ones ability it is a good challenge. In my opinion it is definitely a second shot course, lots of room off the T and some skill required around the greens. The risk reward shots require carry over water, typical of Florida courses, but are reasonable length. The day was spoiled by slow play. 5 hour and 5 minute rounds are just not fun. The back nine on this track always seems to back up as it is a little more difficult than the front especially 16 through 18.
Thank you for your review. We value your feedback and hope to see you again soon!

Played On 02/18/2019Nice Layout
Always have enjoyed this track, in good condition and a fun layout to play. Some nice rolling terrain, which is not typical of Florida courses. The course booked a nine hole shotgun tournament a half hour before our T time. No starter so all T times were stacked up on the first T. Resulted in a 4 and a half hour round on a hot muggy day. Golfnow should inform you that the course has a tournament scheduled when booking. I wouldn't have booked on this date if I would have known of the tournament.

Played On 01/03/2019Fun Track to Play
Played this course several times last year and enjoyed it. Was pleased that the course was in very good condition this year, the greens especially, although a little slow were for the most part in good shape. I like the layout, has some terrain change which isn't typical of Florida courses, which adds to enjoyment for me. Pace of play was good once we got through a group of 5 members in front of us.

My favourite course in the Lakeland area. I love the layout, typical Florida with a fair amount of water but there are options to reach pins protected by ponds and lakes. The greens are in very good condition although quite slow. Usually the greens are a fair bit quicker but being early winter may be left longer to protect them. Major renovation of bunkering on the course which will enhance the layout even more. Pace of play was good until a 5th woman joined the group of 4 in front of us for the back nine. No sigh of a martial to rectify the situation.

One of my favorite courses in the Lakeland area. Considering it's December the greens were very good. Played as a threesome and on the day we played pace of play was outstanding. 18 in three hours, my idea of heaven.

Still love this course even though it's a Lille pricier than last I played it two seasons ago. Play as a treat for myself now. Challenging but fair. Typical Florida course with plenty of water in play. Second shot course with generous fairways.

Played On 02/26/2018Nice layout
I really enjoyed this track. From the tees I played, green, the course was challenging but fair. The greens and tee boxes were in great shape. Overall the course was in very good to excellent conditions. The tee box on the range the day I played was pretty chewed up.
I plan on playing it again soon.

Played On 02/18/2018Good bang for the buck
It's obvious the new ownership at this course is serious about rehabilitating it. A lot of upgrade work has already been done, new sod, bunkers improved and they are renovating the clubhouse. The greens still need some work but I'm sure that is on the agenda. It's a fun layout although I was surprised when I saw the yardage from the whites. At under 6000 yds, right in my wheel house, the par 3's are quite short and the par 4's are long which is a little different and challenging.
Huntington Hills Golf & Country Club
Played On 01/08/2018Nice variation in terrain
This course has a nice variety of terrain change, some elevated tees, lots of mounding and some elevated greens. Course knowledge is a big advantage here as there are a fair few blind shots that can result in disaster if you don't know where to aim. The course was in very good shape considering it's winter. The greens and T boxes are very good and the bunkers were well maintained. The greens are on the quick side with some slopes but not stupid fast. The course can be fairly challenging especially if you pick the wrong Tees. Higher handicappers could struggle here. Bring lots of ammunition.
Thank you for the great review, hope to see you again soon
The Habitat Golf Course
Played On 02/12/2017Good bang for the buck
The greens and T boxes at the Habitat are in good shape. The greens run a little quick which for me is a good thing. The bunkers need work as many have very little sand and are very firm. I'm not sure how often they are able to service them but the last two times I played they were not much fun. I really like the layout, some fun holes and a nice change from a lot of Florida courses in that you aren't playing in a housing development.
Thank you for the in-depth review! We apologize for the wait and hope you'll join us again soon.
