Course OK

Not a great layout, in a housing community and was in shaggy condition! Tee boxes, fairways and greens were not in real good condition for this time of year! If the price was not low, would bl have been very disappointed!

Pleasant Surprise

I have not played EM since they did all the upgrades and was pleasantly with the improved fairways, the staff seemed friendlier than in the past and the conditions for after overseed were excellent. The ability to drive in the rough was beneficial too as it has many inclines to cart paths. The greens were a bit slow as expected. The course was wonderful! I would go back an play it again today

Challenge

I love this course as it is always a challenge. The greens were slower which makes it easier but that was made up by the soft fairways, both due to overseed. As was expected but still a pain, cart path only makes it a more difficult round. Always a pleasure to play!

Excellent Fall Conditioning

Course was in excellent shape for overseed conditioning! Cart paths only but greens rolled well, not fast but smooth!

Course great, some staff a bit stuffy.

Great course, lots of variety of holes, wide fairways with emphasis on shots into greens. Early Sept conditions with slow but smooth greens. It is a private course so be prepared for some starchy rules.

First Class Facility

From the time we got to bag drop to last dropped putt, first class. Friendly helpful staff, good well stocked practice facility and a very nice layout. Variety of holes with varying length par 3's which is nice for a change from the tips (7,000 yds) with some water. I especially enjoyed the 9th hole with the split fairway. Would play this course again and again!

First Class Facility

From the time you step out of the vehicle at the bag drop to the end of the round, first class facility. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the practice facility were good and well stocked and the course (Devil's Claw) fit the 4.5 stars on golfnow. Variety of holes with uniqueness and views. I especially liked the 9th hole with the split fairway giving you a choice to cut a few yards off. Plays just over 7,000 yds. from tips and is a challenge from there but not undaunting.

Best Public Course in the Valley

This is my favorite course in the valley and don't get tired of playing it multiple times. Variety of holes, elevation changes, great shape, friendly staff and a challenge. Can't bring the big stick out on all the holes which make you think and play smart golf. Difficult but not stupid from tips. Did not see a yardage book which would be benefial as there only about 3 holes on course that are flat and a couple that are somewhat blind or a choice of tee shots. Will go back again and again to The Dinosaur!

Nice Layout

I like the design of the golf course and in general, the course was in good shape but not pristine. Lots of construction going on right next to course, so scenery is alot of earth moving equipment which does not add to the scenery. A couple good views but nothing WOW! Welcome was great and friendly. We were there plenty early hoping to get breakfast but they only had breakfast sandwiches which were good. Got to first tee box area and group in front of us were not there. First hole open, he did not let us go ahead even though we were ready and ended up waiting most of round.

Challenging but in need of some tender care

North course was a challenge and a good track with a variety of lengh holes with elevation changes, water and traps. Greens were smooth but slow. Tees boxes were rough and the fairways were in need of some tender care but in fairness to the staff/course, I played it just before reseeding. Could see the south course and it is lush and green (in process of reseeding). I would recommend this course to play.
