The carts have GPS now, great. So not only do they cut off somewhere between 50 -100 yards away from the greens but there's no warning and it won't reverse so you have to push it back away from the green in 100 degree heat. It's set up so ridiculous I'll probably never go back.

Everything was in pretty nice shape but the greens were perfect.

Actual Bermuda is filling in nicely throughout the entire course. Nothing was in horrible shape and the greens were in above average condition. If you find yourself in the rare bald spot, just move it, you're not pro.

I've played here hundreds of times through the years and while it hasn't been in that great of shape in the last few years, it was still pretty nice. But now the entire front 9 is a dried out goat track. I don't know if the irrigation is broken or what but we're talking dirt tee boxes. The back 9 is still in slightly above average shape to average shape. Hopefully it's just a temporary irrigation issue but they're about to lose half the course.

Greens were in excellent condition. Overall improved overall shape, but again the greena were amazing.

Not gimmicky, just a fair test of golf in excellent shape.

I saw mostly bad reviews. I don't know how much conditions could change in 10 days, but this is an absolutely beautiful golf course. Its not in resort shape yet, if that's where your bar is set but it's better than average. I loved it and can't wait to go back.

They're doing a phenomenal job. Course is in gorgeous shape. I didn't play great and it's a little tight. There's maybe 10 yards of rough and then your ball is gone. I played into a strong wind on about 12 holes so maybe that altered my perception somewhat. Anyhow, the course was absolutely beautiful.

A lot of work must have went into making sure one will hardly ever hit from a flat lie, even on the tee boxes. Bunkers were soft on first half inch and then packed pretty hard, which is the worst. I tried to square the SW to get it to dig, couldn't do it. Pretty much have to almost pick it clean, good news is ball will always be sitting up. Just another course designed and set up for low single digit or better players. I don't remember what percentage of golfers that is, but it's small. If you're looking for a test, it's certainly not unfair. All this applies to Crooked Cat too, maybe more.

Tee boxes could be in a little better shape but overall course is in great shape, a few greens damaged but I'm confident this is temporary. Great course for your driver.

I think this last time was probably the 10th time I've played here and well over half the times I've played here they've had one 9 closed for various reasons. They simply don't care enough to put the course advisory up. Period.

It's a little tight if you spray it all over the place. I have played at least 20 courses since Florida winter weather makes courses put down winter rye to make fairways and greens greener. I can't stand it. The ball doesn't roll near as well and it's more sticky on slightly fat shots. It sucks. This place has as much or more good thick Bermuda as any place in the area. It makes a difference. The greens were in outstanding shape as well.

Good healthy bermuda everywhere, very little weeds. Played from the back as it's not real long, but it's still a real golf course if you know what I mean. One par five where the green is extremely guarded, two extra par 3's, the rest all shortish par 4's. None were driveable, we hit driver between 240-280 on flat ground and a couple of those require your 200 yard club of the tee. Greens were in great shape. Just a fun course. Plus views of the Banana river and a nice ocean breeze.

The prices right now here are down right ridiculous. The only small complaint I have is I would prefer a little faster greens but they are in EXCELLENT shape and roll true and they're not long, I just like fast greens. The layout is excellent and invites you to hit most of your clubs yet if you love hitting driver the fairways and rough are fairly wide on most par 4's and 5's. Excellent grass everywhere. When we saw the prices, we assumed it must be in slightly rough shape but that couldn't be further from the truth. It would be a good deal at 3 to 4 times the rate they're charging right now. Get out there, you won't regret it.

This place needs to be played like winter park pines, it's less expensive and in better shape plus is a true par 72 with an excellent layout and variety of scenic holes.

Between the layout, course conditions, greens, price and staff friendliness this is my favorite course in central florida and I've played just about every public and several private courses. Only place I like more is the new course at Grand Cypress but it's almost three times as much. Book this course asap.

The staff at both the pro shop and the bar/ restaurant are maybe the friendliest of anywhere in town.
