Course is not in good shape,nostarter,no Marshall. Pace of play very slow. After 3 hours and only 12 holes we quit.
Was not a fun day on the links.

Too bad this course doesn't have a Marshall. The last 2 times we played pace has been so slow we haven't finished.
Such a shame for a course that is fun to play.

I'm sorry to have to say this about one of my favorite courses. I recommend it to friends often. But today was not good.
Our tee time was 2:00 and we progressed fairly well on the front nine slow but moving. We were told the Marshall was already gone for the day. When we stopped for a refreshment after nine the place was all but locked up with barely anyone around.
As we were playing the 10th hole out from behind us came the group TELLING us that they were playing through as we were to slow. We informed them that it was slow in front of us but they went ahead anyway. Before we had even finished the hole they had turned around realizing we were telling the truth but with no apology. By the time we had arrived at the 14th hole ,there was now 3 groups on the hole. At this point it was 5 pm. We didn't see any sign of being able to finish so we quit.
I do feel had there been a Marshall on the course on an obviously busy Friday afternoon this problem might have been avoided. A beautiful day for golf was turned sour.

Played On 01/05/2017This is one of our favourite place to play while we are in Palm Bay for the winter. On this particular day we had a foursome of very slow players who were not letting anyone play through. We and the group behind up cut over to one of the 2 empty holes ahead of them just to maintain pace of play. Some days a Marshall would be useful.

We are sorry you did not get to finish your round. We work hard to keep the pace of play moving as that is a huge part of the golf experience. We do have team members that patrol the course for pace of play but it looks like they were not on the course during your round. We appreciate the feedback and will put it to good use.
