I have not played Lansbrook this year yet as my schedule prohibited me from joining the condo group. Much improved course!! They took out the bunker and laid sod around the 5th green - my nemesis hole. Various other places too. My only minor compliant....we got there a bit early as we finished our errands. No one was on the first tee, and no one was even on the first fairway....But we were not allowed to hit because "you paid the lower price for that time, you have to wait".... I mean really....So we went to the putting green for 30 minutes.

Second time. Played the yellow tees (under my max of 6000 Yds). MUCH better for me. Still a LOT of water and gators!

First time. Should have played from the yellow tees, not the whites. 6100 yds from the white, which is above my limit...(I'm 71 years old). Ponds EVERYWHERE, even in the middle of the fairways...greens were pretty good. Better than many I have played here in Florida. Lots of gator sightings too!

I will be back. But I will pay from the yellow tees!

Fairways and tee boxes in pretty good shape for this time of the year and the amount of play this course gets. The greens were not as good as I think they should be. But it is Florida and there has been a drought. Apparently there are also some spots with an invasive species of grass contaminating the greens. Some bare spots too.

Did not play here last year, mostly due to my schedule. The course was in very good shape. Fast greens. Much better than I expected.

Tough course for me at least. Tee boxes and fairways are in good shape. Greens are new (two years?) so they are HARD and bumpy. I hit a few approaches and had them bounce off.

Tee boxes and fairways have grass.. This is rather unique for a Florida golf course this time of year. Better than trying to hit off tight lies all day. Greens were hard, as in like concrete. I was told they were new (2 years now). It was frustrating to hit the right club the proper distance only to have it bounce off the green. It was still better than most of the public courses here. I would play there again.

Might be the last time this season here in CNY. Going to be cooler and wet. Jivi and his crew do a GREAT job with the course. New fluffy sand in the bunkers!!!!

Course was in decent shape considering the rain we have had. Some standing water. Greens were surprisingly quick. My only complaint would be the carts. They are horrible.

Alwsys on great shape. They are working on the sand traps, so I took a free lift twice.

Rained (finally) the day before, making everything green and lush. Course is ALWAYS in great shape thanks to the dedicated work of Javi's crew. I make it a point to play there 3-4 times a month (not a member as I like to play different courses too).

Course was in excellent condition, as usual. Not many people out as it was a Tuesday and late morning tee time. A welcome relief to hit balls off grass instead of the sand and dirt in Florida.

Had planned and paid for 18, but when we got to the turn there were FOUR other groups waiting to tee off. It was a great fall day and EVERYONE came out to play.
Course was in great shape, as it always is.

Saw all the previous reviews. I was disappointed.
First the good points: decent layout, fast greens, sand in the bunkers were the best I have seen in CNY, nice clubhouse, back 9 has some very nice holes (picturesque, fair to play).
Bad points: front 9 was abysmal. Trenches or a pond everywhere, I can deal with ponds as they are usually visible, but the trenches often were hidden. #2 is a ridiculous hole. 125 yds uphill Par 3. Hit my iron well, landed it right where I thought it would be good, in front of the green. But then it rolled all the way to the back of the green. When the green is that high, there is little vertical drop for the ball to "fall", instead it has too much horizontal velocity and runs. The porta-potties were FULL at #12 (?), and I mean FULL!
I didn't mind the work going on. Shows they were keeping the course up, or even upgrading.
A GREAT way to upgrade would be to put CULVERTS in to replace the many trenches, cover them with soil and grass. A slight mound to carry is very different than a trench you cannot see from the tee box.
Drove over an hour to play there as I heard it was a great course. Doubt I will return.

Had not played the course in a few years. Mostly due to where it is vs where I live. It is a tough course for me, or probably anyone who has not played it regularly. You have to know where to hit, and be able to put it there,
The course itself was in GREAT shape. Kudos to the grounds crew. Green were true and quick. Water can be an issue if you miss your stroke.

First time this season due to my schedule. But ALWAYS a great course. Be careful of the ravine!

So much better than the conditions in Florida. Javi's crew do a GREAT job on the course.

Had the brisket sandwich. Very good!

Javi and his crew do a great job keeping the course in tip top shape. We had dinner in the clubhouse too. Great food!
