Bring all of you clubs because this course will test your abilities...the green were quick but fair... the tee boxes were in good shape.... the fairways were a bit narrow but the rough receptive to a good solid hit.. the trip up was an easy drive up Route 91...
about an hour...
I can only imagine how beautiful this course will be in the fall!

The Safari Club to Oak Ridge is an annual pilgrimage...the course is well laid out with enough water hazards to keep you on your toes...it plays a little long but was in great shape..the greens were a little quick but well manicured...
the rough was a little long so being off the fairway created a tough shot..the staff was very friendly and accommodating..

Cold Springs Country Club is unique in that it has 6 par 3’s... Not that they are easy but because they are so varied and different... this course is short by most standards but plays long on the par 5’s ... the greens are fast and are undulating..
The course had someone greet us and get our clubs to the appropriate cart.. this is a nice feature and the staff was very friendly...
The Safari Club enjoyed the day... it is a pretty good value for your dollar!

This course is special...it is well groomed and cared for..we played with the Safari Club and the pace was excellent..
this is a course that you will use every club in your bag...
The owner took the time to say hello to everyone... she was everywhere!

On a beautiful May morning we drove from the Springfield area to Lennox, Mass to play Cranwell....This course set in the Berkshires will give you all you can handle...It winds through several neighborhoods offering a mix of challenging holes...
The greens were fast and the rough long...so finding the fairway is essential...
Enjoy a pleasant ride up the Mass Pike to an enjoyable day of golf at Cranwell!

This is one of the premier courses in Western Massachusetts....a 45 minute drive from the Springfield area, a pleasant drive up Route 91..
Don’t expect to take this course for granted... it is a tough ,demanding course that plays long...the rough is long and punishes those who cannot find the fairway...and the greens are sloped and quick...
We played with the Safari Club and give an award for the most lost balls in the water...that should tell you how tough it can be..
Don’t pass up an opportunity to play here... but don’t expect to beat this course either...

The Safari Club kicked of the 2018 season as usual at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield.. Course superintendent A J was as usual friendly and supportive of the Safari Club...
This is a relatively flat course but don’t let that fool you... this course plays long....the greens were a little slow but the course as usual was in great shape...
This course, a short drive from Springfield,Mass is well worth the drive!

This is a course that will use every club in your bag. It plays long and most fairway shots are with the ball above or below your feet.The greens are tough and rolled fairly fast. One of the par three's is long enough to be short par four. Most Safari members used a 3 wood or driver on it. The greens are large so you can get on but you usually have a long put to get home.
As usual this place was very well cared for.

For a course that has water everywhere and with the amount of rain we had in the days prior to our Safari Club Venture...this course took it all in stride. It was well manicured and the rough was very manageable...The greens played well and they were quick. My group will be playing here in the fall. This is a fun course.

This is Destination Golf. It is a bit of a ride (about 90 minutes from the Springfield area) but the trip was worth it. The course was in great shape and the greens fairly fast. The course is at the base of Mt. Snow so it is quite hilly. Each tee shot will test you to put it in the fairway.
The rangers were out on the course directing traffic and that helped to keep up the pace of play...
You will need every club on your bag!

Playing this course is an adventure....you had best bring your favorite driver because if your not in the fairway you are fighting the tall fescue.The greens were well manicured and very fast... slide by the hole and you have a long putt back. The fairways were in great shape and allowed crisp shots to the greens...this is a course the you will need every club in your bag..

If you are going to take a golf trip Vermont, play this course...it will take every club in your bag,and will test your short game...
It is an easy 80 minute ride. Safari members were happy to hear we are returning next year.

This course was incredible...it was immaculate and well manicured..
Despite having several inches of rain it had drained reasonably well and carts were allowed to use 90* into fairway...I was even allowed to use a handicapped placard within reason to the greens.
My Saturday group will be playing this course in the future!

Oak Ridge was in great shape...the greens were quick... with approximately 130 golfers the pace was good...no hold ups...
This is a Safari destination golf course... overall an enjoyable day!

First time playing but will return...Course in great shape,with well mannered greens...you will need every club in your bag to play this course well. Greens fast...Bring your favorite putter.
The owner was everywhere...greeting people and interacting with everyone...She took personal responsibility for everyone having a good time.
Will play this course again with my regular group.

The course speaks for itself..always in good shape.... Greens are fast...rough a little long....good value..
But the new management team is very good. The last team was indifferent and the service was mediocre at best.
This new team is making every attempt to restore confidence in the course and staff..it does make a difference!

It's about an hour from Agawam, Mass., but well worth the ride...this is a "quirky" course with many elevation changes. Some shots are downhill,then uphill, then uphill again...you will use all the clubs in your bag...It was our first time playing this course.
This would be a wonderful course to play in the fall. Glad we are returning next year..

Courses in good shape...greens in great shape...pace of play slow....open holes but no ranger to move groups along...we were a visiting organizations and treated very well.. Rode with a former member and got history lesson on golf course. Including members finding original Donald Ross plans and bringing course back to original design.

Greens beautiful.. Fairways a little heavy. Pace of play excellent...staff addressing back nine with removal of 200 trees. This will also make a positive impact on play..... Cart paths could use some TLC...all in all an enjoyable day.

Courses well maintained and greens quick end fast...with six par threes the course backs up but this is a known fact. Enjoyable time.
