Course is in excellent shape. A real gem. Got rained out after 5 holes, can't wait to return.
RedTail Golf Club
Played On 03/27/2019Big fun
Liked this venue. Plenty of trouble to get into. Lots of sand, a few water holes. Played in the spring, I can tell it will be a bugger when the rough grows in. A lot of holes where the fairway stops with a 120 yds - 150 yds of rough to the green. Greens are not big, medium size, with lots of undulations. The staff was extremely pleasant. Well worth the drive. Will play again next trip.
Waldorf Astoria Golf Club

Wekiva Golf Club
Played On 03/06/2019Big fun
The course is challenging enough. Plenty of sand traps. Every green is well guarded. The whole staff made my day a great one. They went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Even on my way to my car after my round, they thanked me for playing their course. This customer service goes a long way with me. Thanks guys for the fun round, I will be coming back.
Queen's Harbour Yacht & Country Club

Eagle Creek Golf Club
Played On 02/01/2019Best round of the week
Course is in excellent shape from tees to greens. Fairways very playable. Fast greens, but not too fast. Staff was great! the ranger John, was awesome. He asked us twice as we played, if everything was OK. Chatted with all in our foursome. Very friendly. Talked with us after we finished. Other courses could learn from the employees at Eagle Creek. Played in just over 4 hours. Course is hard, yet very score friendly. Will definitely play the jem again.
Timacuan Golf Club
Played On 01/31/2019Difficult enough

Deer Island Country Club
Played On 01/30/2019Big fun
A little hard to find. Lots of turns. Yet GPS took me right to it. Super fast greens. A cold day in Jan. not very busy. Played in 3hr 15min. Lots of water. A gator was hangin out 10 yards from the 10th tee box. 7-8 footer. Never moved the whole back nine. Course is in good shape. Will be back.
RedTail Golf Club
Played On 01/29/2019Beautiful yet tougher than a $2 steak

Royal St. Cloud Golf Links - Red/White Course
Played On 01/28/2019Fast elevated greens
Had 3" of rain the previous day, yet course was very playable. Drainage is great. Very tough courses. Played red/white. Starters said red was toughest of the three, 9 hole sections. Greens were extremely fast, even with all the rain the previous day. All of the greens sit above a low sloping area. Very hard to hold the greens on your approach shot unless you can bring it in very high. This course is a gem. Great condition from tees to greens. GPS wants to take you on a scenic tour. Just take HWY 192 (Irlo Bronson) to Michigan st. And Mich. dead ends at the course. No tolls, or turns. GPS will take you through 3 neighborhoods with several turns, and 3 tolls.
Covered Bridge Golf Club

Played On 09/19/2018Great Pete Dye layout
Great deal for seniors ( $24 ) had the course to myself on a wed. midday. Staff was very friendly. Keep the ball out of the Bermuda rough and you will have a good round. A little hard to find, call ahead they are great with directions.

Aston Oaks Golf Club
Played On 07/18/2018Fairways have seen better days
Staff was great. Layout great. Greens fast. Lots of sand. A few forced carries. Plenty of doglegs. All in all a fun course. The fairways have taken a beating from the rain and heat. Would like to play again in the fall. Great deal on Golfnow. Worth the play.

Georgia Veterans Memorial Golf Course at Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club
Played On 06/29/2018Great layout, small greens.
The course is in great condition. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens, all in great shape. The greens are smaller than I prefer. They average 25-30 yards in depth. I tried to call before I came, and it took 3 times before somebody answered the phone. I don't quite understand this as they were not at all busy. I pretty much had the course to myself on a Friday afternoon. I only played there to kill a couple of hours driving home from Florida. I was trying to miss Atlanta rush hour. Played this course in less than 3 hours. Worth the play if the price is right. I paid too much at $25. Golfnow had a hot deal at $11, but I would have had to wait another hour to play. The course has it's moments. Play it and see what you think.
The Legends at Orange Lake Resort
Played On 06/28/2018Worth the time.
Nice course. With all the great courses in the Orlando area, I think I've been spoiled. This course is worth a try. Not the best course in town. But not the worst by far. In good shape. Nice layout. With all the rain, the greens were slow. Looks like an overall nice resort, with 54 holes of golf, lots of condos for rent, and a pool and water complex. Probably a great place to take the fam and relax for a week or two.
Panther Lake at Orange County National
Played On 06/27/2018Great day for golf
First time on this course. Played the Crooked Cat last month. Both courses are a great bargain, and a good challenge of your skills. Plenty of trouble to get into. Lots of sand. Great greens. Course is in excellent shape, even with all the rain. Will be back.
Hawk's Landing Golf Club
Played On 06/25/2018Great staff, great course.
Easy to find. Just off of I-4, near Disney. Course was a little wet, not a problem. Green were a little slow, not a problem. Nice layout. Staff was friendly. Would love to play again.
We appreciate you taking the time to review Hawk's Landing and for giving us a 5-Star rating. Our team works hard to earn this every day and takes great pride in making sure you and all of our golfers enjoy their experience. Our greens are usually a little slower in the summer months because we do aerify them about every 6-8 weeks in an effort to reduce compaction and to remove organic matter that build up beneath the surface.
We hope you have an opportunity to play us again very soon and can return in the fall when we speed the greens up to 11' - 12' on the stimpmeter.
Golf Brilliantly!
RiverWatch Golf Club
Played On 06/20/2018Great course, always a great challenge
Got rained out after 13 holes. No worries though, only paid $6 with a $20 Golfnow discount. Course is always in great shape. Tees are a little hard, but fairways and greens are perfect. My only issue was that they had changed the front nine and the person in the pro shop did not inform me about this. They have made the old 8@9 holes, # 1@ 2. So I started on 3, which used to be #1. A little confusing. My GPS was still calibrated to the old way, so my yardage was correct, but the score card was different. Anyway, I figured it out when I got to the 1st par 3. And it never affected my round. But a little info on this would have been nice. I even explained to the pro shop employee that I hadn't been there in a couple of years. I guess it just slipped his mind. Most of the players there are regulars. And a nice bunch of people. I will be back.
Thank you for the 5 star review ribeyeman! Thrilled to hear you had a great time with us!
